You took sand from directly outside the fences, as in the block next to them, and you made Jo efforts to clean the landscape afterwards, something which is not only common courtesy but is also part of Profan's "No ugly shit" rules. You could have at least made a quarry type thing 50 or so blocks away, or used a layer of cobblestone and a layer of sand to cover it. On top of that, we have had issues with you before, for this exact same sort of thing. You would think that you would know to get sand from one of the many nearby uninhabited deserts by now, or maybe even just [I]ASK[/I] us before making big blocky holes in the ground right next to our city?

I still would expect you to clean up after yourself. I do all my digging in quarries about 100 blocks away from any homes, out of site. Now we need to use OUR sand to clean this up and keep the surrounding desert looking nice. Again. I and don't think I should have to build a fucking fence around everything in site to ensure that you don't put craters in it.

Sorry profan, this has happened before and I didn't know when he was to get online. The hole went up against and underneath our subway station in parts. I wanted to him banned to grab his attention and the holes fixed. Orkel said it was too big to be safely rolled back, so we Dr. Cow planned to fix it himself, if he hasn't already.
And to Cheese, Dr. Cow and I run a tight ship around that area, why you chose to build your ville next to the gigantic, sun-blotting pyramid is beyond me, but we have to deal with eachother now. I can tell you are a man who appreciates nice things, based on the really rather nice buildings you've built, even if they are uncomfortably close. I want the desert to [U]not[/U] be an eyesore for the community.
I've been in your shoes man, just imagine how much sand my group and I needed to build that pyramid. I'll give you a hint: 2 metric shittons. We dug out just about 2/3 the desert in front of the pyramid. Do you see a big crater there? No? That's because we didn't want it looking like shit, and covered it up.
This is not a matter of "I don't like Cheeseman, let's try to get him banned!" for me, this is a matter of me trying to keep the desert looking nice, and expecting some degree of politeness and courtesy from you. Like I said, I've never had somebody do this before without speaking to me first, or just covering it up afterwards.
Look at the carto, there are other unused deserts nearby :smile:

Alright, the potion chests at the chest shop weren't working, so I'm going to be replacing them with enchanted tools chests. Yep, BrimCo now has a mob grinder. Now, dotrichard, don't worry, so long as you don't disappear and prices stay good, we will not be equipping our grinder to collect drops. But we are using to to get xp, and make it easier for people to obtain basic enchanted tools.

I'm don't normally get into arguments, but this desert thing is fucking ridiculous. He didn't fix shit, and now I have to devote MY time and MY resources to fix HIS mistakes it. I'm not trying to get anyone banned here but he purposefully used multiple creepers to make some of the holes in the desert to avoid log block. That in and of it self is just sad.
