We mine elsewhere, we try to save the resources right below Karkand for the citizens. Futurize has a hippie hut about 6k out we go to sometimes, I have a few small houses 100-500 blocks outside Karkand, etc.

So I've been playing on Goose's server lately because I'm honestly bored of this map and nothing going on interests me.

Damn, the ice is unforgiving. If you fall under, you're basically fucked no matter what you do. Even if you mine the block over your head, it freezes while you're occupying that space, forcing you back under. Just lost all of my equipment, experience, food and materials and tried 5 times to get it back, losing it every time.
Fucking ice.

IMO it would look better if the meteors would be more flatter. Right now the aftermath terrain is covered with lava-seeping turds.

I found an abandoned mine in virvel, but I didn't have the patience to explore all of it, it has an abundance of materials and not many if any of virvel's people really use it, and I don't really have the patience or any means to properly explore it, it's a shame that it would just lay there unused when it is right below a somewhat active city and still brimming with materials .
