I've started an underwater lava lighting thing from the tail, I realise this is a massive greifing target but I dont submit to terrorists.

Not Entirely, Mystic ward still needs it's ceiling to be done. But large amounts of tnt won't work.

First this that i think would make a really cool settlement with the houses in the mountainside wall.

Nah, I know the guy IRL. Me and Tral were setting up some security shit and he pushed me when I was digging and everything blew up. Didn't think it was so important that it needed immediate fixing.

I can actually undo all that shit instantly, you wont be unbanned within a few days though since you didn't tell me this happened.

First off, I'd like to thank flubber for handling the situation maturely and allowing both sides to come to an agreement.

So me and like 9 other bros set out to make a city: Iron Valley.
Fun ensues for a good week or two. I guess I emerged as the figurehead and people were upset when I told them their buildings were shitty (albeit in nicer terms). Half the people bitched and half the people supported me so I was like "fuck it" and just tried to do whatever would make the city look nicer overall. It fucking sucks telling your friends that their buildings are ugly and don't fit in the town at all, but it also fucking sucks having your friends complain about a bunch of ugly buildings that don't fit in the town at all.
One incident involved the player Ohairtneada. He planned to build a fort, which I thought was a good idea, but decided to make it on a giant cobblestone platform halfway off a mountain just a snowball's throw from the town. The majority of us thought it was a terrible place, but he continued building. I suggested that he make it literally anywhere but halfway off a mountain. He didn't listen and finished the platform and started the walls. We really didn't want to do it, but the only way to get him to stop was to bust some holes in it. Everybody was on board for the idea, so we busted it up a little so that he would get the message. Couple days later, one of the bros texts me and tells me Ohairtneada is doing crazy shit and to check Facebook. He had posted a picture of his inventory with a bunch of gunpowder and the caption "Capitol Building with this potential TNT?" Apparently I was supposed to understand that it was a joke or something, but it didn't translate through the Internet and the bro who texted me made it sound like this shit was going down. I panicked and had Profan ban Ohairtneada so that we could talk it out without risk of shit going boom. Shit went south and I ended up being the bad guy after all this. Fuck me.
So at this time, everybody is bored of building, some people who used to be on 10 hours a day haven't been on in days, nothing is getting done, and no resources are coming in. 2 (or more, they kept it secret) guys went and started a new town or something. I can't get anyone to do the shit we need to do. Half the population spends its time bitching about irrelevant bullshit instead of being productive and it seems like this project has drawn to a close.
General disinterest, yeah?
Fast forward to last night, me and 2 of the other bros are on and decide to try something to make the town more fun. On a whim, we plucked all the torches from the city and waited for nightfall. Cue spiders, zombies, and skeletons everywhere. Much fun was had. I took precautions to make sure the Furnace House, Warehouse, and Bank were all safe and secure, as these buildings housed all of our valuables. Nothing of value was lost, nor did we purposefully destroy anything that would be difficult or impossible to fix. No lava, no crazy water everywhere, no random blocks, TNT, or arrow traps, no nothing. The only thing left when we logged out was darkness and a few wayward creeper holes (of which there were more when I logged on).
This was [b]not[/b] griefing, don't let them tell you otherwise. I put just as much, if not more, work into this city as everyone else and I would hate to see it demolished completely.
However, that being said, I really don't give 2 shits about the city at this point. Everybody jumps on me whenever I make an executive decision and don't contribute anything themselves. I'm going to take my share of the resources and go start something else.

Hey Sniper I feel your pain, working on a city can be annoying. You'll get a bunch of people who'll make completely unfitting buildings that need removal and will hate you, then you'll get a bunch of people who break rules and write up drama arguing they did not break said rules.

I really really, like you trying to clear things up Sniper.
But you have simply told your side of the story. You made it sound very nice on your end. You shed yourself on nice light. You are not the victim you made yourself out to be. We all like iron valley seeing as how we spent lots of time on it, and it looks good. We think we can build one town and still improve iron valley at the same time.
We all like playing Sniper. Many, if not all of us, have simply decided we don't like playing for you. Cause that is, whether you intentionally made it that way or not, it us what it felt like. Its a game. And we'd all like you to join us. Hopefully, in real life, there isnt hard feelings.
