Gonna write up some tips for ship building while the server is having latency issues (stop whining about that too it's just Minecraft)
Regulation size dock ports for your ships are to be built like so :

a 4x4 block frame and a 2x2 port, simple, make sure anything on the ship doesn't protude past this.

Your dock can be made up of any material you wish, but the same does no go for docking ports for your station.
On a station port it must be something that does not attach to a ship AKA something that does not work in a ship, e.g Sandstone, dirt, snow and obsidian, so the ship docking does not drag the whole station away :v:
When turning your ship make SURE to be in a safe position far from any others ships or stations etc. because it can damage the station doing so!

Ships cannot be made of over 1000 blocks or it will simply not fly at all, and remember, not all materials will allow your ship to fly.

Basic commands:
/aircraft pilot to pilot your aircraft
/aircraft release or simply /release to stop flying your ship.

use /movecraft in-game to find more on this subject.

Some helpful reminders:
Try not to make your ship fully out of wool or glass ass the space Ghasts(lets call them space invaders) can destroy both of those materials.
Write down co-ords to stations in your ship with a sign
Try to make it longer than it is wide to avoid blocking ports at the ISS etc.
holding right click for too long can cause the player to fall out of the ship to earth, tae breaks every 10 seconds and start again instantly.
Nights are very hostile, because planets are not lit up, many, many mobs spawn on them, and beware the space invaders.
