Is there any Craftbukkit thing that allows you to start your minecart?
I want something to push my minecart so I don't have to push it down a hill and run after it trying to get inside it before it just runs away from me.

Put a lever or a redstone torch next to a obsidian block with a rail ontop or a booster rail.
Put cart on this.
Sit in cart.
Flick lever/bork redstonetorch

Its a bit of the sea which goes down VERY deep. Perfect location for a underwater base/city

What's the problem with it? I don't see it.
Just have to make sure there's still the old stupid(not infinite and not finite) water available.

I built my place near bedrock sea. So i've built subs and ships to make the best use of it. creative obviously.

Its true I saw it with my own eyes
I would say keep water as it is for now. Maybe use that when 1.8 comes and the map resets so no one has any fountains or waterfalls that it would ruin.

The server restart seems to take a lot longer than usual.
I finally finished the structure of my dojo-type place.

It took a few days to do and now I think I'll expand the island a bit and add a surrounding garden or something. And then a bridge to the chinatown island.
