Am I still banned? Thinking I might come back in 1.8.
Well a part of people being "lazy" would have to be with the distance that they have to build away from spawn so they find making a road all the way back a huge project. Just a week into this map I would have loved to build something near spawn but it was already filled with a bunch of square houses or other ugly crap. When you build far away you keep the nice landscape and have tons of room to expand plus roads aren't really that useful to me because of coordinates and the carto. I still like to use them so I don't have to go over mountains though. Can we make a rule next map that there are no sky-roads? I like bridges connecting landmasses or between two mountains but the one from spawn to Lavasprings is an ugly piece of shit. this http://i.imgur.com/NQiJQ.jpg and this http://i.imgur.com/vNncK.jpg are ugly and the person who made them deserves to be shot.
Well the first thing you posted is someone's 2000 block long railroad to his town. You try making that look nice for 2000 blocks.
God I want 1.8 out so bad. I'm getting a bit sick of the current map being a cluster fuck of shit houses and horrible sky roads.

Not that i don't agree though, bridges can look fantastic, but cobble skyroads make you want to pour bleach in your eyes
Yeah space screwed it up for alot of people. You should come back
I still run off the iron I got in space.
The first thing I'm doing on the new 1.8 world is building a network of roads off in all directions. Everyone better use them v:v:v
I still run off the iron I got in space.
I took a long break from the server since space was removed. I still have the glass helmet :v: Space Helmet master race FTW
Hmm... hypothetically speaking, if a certain furnace headed player sees a tnt house covered with locked signs to protect it with a sign saying that it's indestructible, does it still count as griefing if said player gets curious and decides to test out to see if the statement is valid? The house is composed of only tnt and signs mind you, no chests or anything else.
The first thing I'm doing on the new 1.8 world is building a network of roads off in all directions. Other then that it has keept the same style all the way from the beginning to the end.
Am I still banned? Thinking I might come back in 1.8.
I'll unban you for 1.8, just throw me a pm then.
I want to build something like that flying aircraft carrier that was in the Yogscast's Shadow of Israphel. On that note, how did they get those airplanes? I thought you couldn't run mods in SMP.

Oh but by the way I was talking about how ugly it looked being 20 blocks up off the ground for the durration of the entire journey. It looked awkward. I think rails and roads closer to the ground would look better (even if they are still elevated so spiders can't crawl up.
Roads can be kept as they are done now, follow the terrain a bit, tunnels only when absolutely required, and wood bridges over water. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] http://www.fedorafellows.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page Use this more!
Installed a new plugin called VariousFixes by ramalayha, it makes stairs, bookcases, glass and dead bushes drop when hit! [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] Thank 2FAST4U for his donation of 50 SEK! Any donations are appreciated, and much needed for me to pay for this in the long run, you know if I'm not going to live on bread and water in a cardboard box :v:
When 1.8 comes out we definitely need a town in the timber-frame style like so:
Explosive lightning is back, but it won't hurt grass, dirt, sand or gravel! So there will be no crater landscape!
Explosive lightning is back, but it won't hurt grass, dirt, sand or gravel! So there will be no crater landscape!
What about snowblocks? Since we don't use grass in Brevno but snowblocks instead we deserve a change!
How about when 1.8 comes out, we'll build some cities or landmarks dedicated to community events? Like we just played RA:APB, how about a tiny soviet base?
Banned Zurkon_assassin for griefing ANIgerian's house.
The top one's style is what i meant ages ago when I said we should have an English countryside themed town. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] The second one looks really cool, i might try to recreate it on a mountain top or something
Banned Zurkon_assassin for griefing ANIgerian's house.
What, this i seriously doubt, he is one of our most regular players, what the fuck are you doing [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] Zurkon unbanned
he placed cobble all over the inside of anigerian's house.
I was going to join you guys in APB but I couldn't find the thread. I want to build a town powered by the dam. if only hydro electric power was actually a function. Would be pretty awesome for a water wheel to generate the electricity for lamp posts.
he placed cobble all over the inside of anigerian's house.
Was this house inside or not inside his town? Did you even ask zurkon why he did it Not trying to be biased, but be a good regular player for months and you deserve a bit of investigation
