I dont usually read the thread so i must have missed on something. Clicking pistons with slime to make them sticky/unsticky doesn't work. Removed? Also, why is the function of powered rails inverted? If I power a rail it stops me. Y

Because wolfram alpha is awesome. That is all.
We need to work on the transportation system then. I think this is a good move because we have relied on spawn for far too long and for too many things.
It would be cool if 1.8 were to introduce a form of faster travel but I guess we will just all be encouraged to build closer to each other.
To be honest, i never really understood why people like to build their cities 2000 blocks away from anything. It just makes it hard to get around.

People like to build terrible cobble things near spawn, and make cobble bridges while not lighting them up. Looks horrible.

Its because idiots like making ugly crap at and around spawn.
I say Profan builds his city a distance from spawn then we all have to branch out from there as time progresses and people get bored. So we can maintain nice landscapes without the threat of 12 year olds coming on and building a giant cobble box ontop of the nice mountain range near the town.

I understand that. But in this map atleast people built in completely opposite directions so none of the towns were particularly close.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you don't want to use /home or /spawn, then don't. And people build 2000 blocks away from the spawn for protection from griefers etc, they shouldn't be penalized for this.
