Secondly if we are still going to be using the same chest protection mod I shall need to know the ingame names of everybody who wishes to join the guild, this can be done by editing the wiki page for the guild and adding your name to the list of people in the guild, after which you will quickly reserve all the benefits of being in the guild (I must be frank, there is not allow of benefits to it all). One of the major benefits is that I fairly sure ( I cannot remember for sure) I will be able to protect chests containing supplies such as road building materials, some iron and food from people outside the guild whilst allowing people in the guild to access them. However as a mod if people in the guild abuse this e.g. if there is a storeroom in one of the Guilds lodges that is emptied and all the supplies are just thrown into some lava I will find out and ban you. My ingame plan is again simple, if you wish to join the guild for the first few names very little work will be done on the infrastructure will be done under the name of the traveller’s guild so everybody is free to do whatever they like, be it build up resources or help build towns. However if you wish to help I will have set up a strip-mine with the aim to collect as much cobble, coal and iron as possible. After a few days I will be starting to look for volunteers who are willing to help with the construction of roads between the cities which have had their details posted to me through Facepunch using the materials that I and hopefully a few other people have built up. This will continue indefinitely as new towns are always popping up, but when Profan is ready work on the rail system will begin and all that lovely iron that has been saved up will go into the building of tracks, the work members of the travellers guild and friendly people outside the guild will do here is dig massive 3x3 holes leading from city to city under the direction of the great slave master Profan and making it look all pretty. This will all continue in till no town goes unconnected and the use of unneeded sky bridges it removed. Lastly, being part of this guild is not a ingame job, it’s not tieing you to any agreement and you are not required to help out if you wish, however if you do wish to become a slave for a hour or so digging out a 3x3 tunnel for 4KM or building a road for three hours or so to link up two cities you are more than welcome to.[/QUOTE] Sign me up to help dig out shit, you know my minecraft username Also guys where is the carnage at I thought we were having a TNT party tonight

Sooo. Would it be a lot of me to ask if i could reserve a 500x500 block plot of land? I have a project in mind but it's rather, massive.
I doubt it would be, considering that when 1.8 properly comes out there will probably be fixes to terrain generation etc.

/Home will still work, right? I was so dependant on that, I'd hate to see it go. Eventually you have to travel for ages to find some good resource caves, and while I don't mind exploring (I love it, actually), having to walk all the way back gets really annoying fast. I was so relieved when I found out that ProFan's server had the /home command, I really can't imagine playing without it, without getting frustrated beyong relief.
So, uh. Why is the server down? I still need to take some measurements of my house so I can make an exact replica in 1.8 for a school project.

So release 1.8 will have 3 strongholds per map. Better, not great.
Having a fixed amount of them is silly, I would rather have a density value like 1 stronghold per 10000 chunks.

Why even limit them, anyways? It's way cooler to explore Strongholds than mine shafts. Althrough it doesn't get as badass as when you find a ravine that goes from surface to bedrock. Speaking of strongholds, I've been rennovating one of the strongholds that I found on a seed mentioned in the Minecraft Wiki. It's pretty fucking massive, I've explored it for one hour and fixed up a lot of it's damaged parts and I [I]still[/I] keep on finding more rooms and hallways!
When the actual update comes around and all the mods are working, you should add cauldron recipes for mossy and cracked stone bricks. It would be a shame to have to take apart a stronghold just for building materials.

Stone bricks already are craftable, 2x2 stone.
