Can I build my 30x30 underground settlement with castle yard on this island?

I don't see why not, just please make it look half decent. Please.
I will make it look decent, when finished. The first few days into construction will look like just some stones walls with some towers. It will be fucking amazing I tell you.

That structure on the right hand side is my old swamp themed shack. Seems like somebody chopped down most of the trees on the island for some project or another.
You can go ahead and dismantle it if you like, I've moved elsewhere.
Cliffhaven just loves their new neighbors.
I've finished hollowing out a mountain with Oscar3231, Redscream and Aldot4. We're still thinking what to do with it, may make it into the entrance of an underground town if we're allowed to start one.

you can start whatever you like. nobody is stopping you.

I still think you should build/call it Zion.
I just found an even cooler island on the carto. I wonder if anybody would be willing to move with me from Port Travis? This one has a lake, mountains and its pretty big basically.

I started progress on the main skeleton of my castle yard. Going thru smooth stone fast as fuck, also having some architectural difficulties deciding what to design. Mabye use some cobble.
ZestyLemons, I have a feeling your proposed Drzewo area and my fort are gonna collide. Check the carto, 984, 64, -3.
The first chamber of The Nautilus. Its pretty spartan right now, but once the structure itself is complete I'll set about creating an actual interior.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/uK1bx.png[/img_thumb]
I've learned a great deal about underwater construction. Mainly about breathing. I've built a primitive diving bell to ease construction of The Nautilus's primary chamber.

Every time I drown I have to pick up my shit and I get assaulted with exp. orbs.
wouldn't it be really cool if we had some sort of plugin to manually set redstone wire states - ie what direction the current goes to?

What I have for now, still sooo much left to change and build. Its 4 blocks high all around now. Went thru 9+ stacks of smooth already. If you want you can donate some cobble at the entrance. :)
The inside will be some gardens with a mobcage. and a small house leading to the underground city underneath. I guess I will be busy quite some time with this one.

If you wear a pumpkin you can breathe forever underwater, server mod
The bubble bar goes down but once it reaches zero you won't lose health
Cliff hanger, you have no right to build a bridge to your town right in front of our towns entrance, we may have allowed it if you asked xXlBanditlXx or Weeman but you did not. You just clearly built it in front of our door to our town. It is being destroyed, since that is our property. The underwater tunnel wont be touched.
Sorry to Profan for being a major dick and not thinking of this through, even if i know tons of server owners who would grief, Past experience Profan, So I'm Sincerely Apologizing to you now for my rash actions!
Atlantica city update, now accepting residents though theres still a boatload of work to do. Either way, here, have some screenshots:
1. The beginning of the city wall, covering the entire aboveground part of the city. My friend is building the entire thing, a bit excessive

2. The house leading the the underground of the city, took me a while to settle on the design but i think it looks fairly good like this.

3.The interior of the house, the stairwells connect to the main area of the Atlantica underground which contains a messageboard, and to the train station

5. The messageboard, empty so far but might fill up soon

6. The train station, will probably be scrapped and completely rebuilt once profan starts laying out the tracks and i know where i need to build/at what level i need to build

7. A look at the recreational park, still has a lot of work to be done on it such as gravel paths, a small pond and flora to be added

8. A dark area of the ravine the underground is built on which will house the second level of the Atlantica City underground portion, both the floor and ceiling need to be filled up with cleanstone

9. The storage room located on the 3rd level of the Atlantica City underground, lacking to wood to fill it up with chests so far, every chest here will be public to all residents, still have to build the adjoining private storages

10. I love this area, it's the connecting platform between the mines(straight ahead), the farm(to the left) and the park area(behind), you can have a look at the ravine located below through the glass and marvel at the beauty of minecrafts natural creations

11. The tree farm. Pretty small but does the job

12. The "engine room". The area with public furnaces available to all residents, only 6 at the moment but will probably be expanded to around 30-40 furnaces.

13. The mineshaft leading down to the mines, the track allows for quick travel from the bottom to the top. IF the minecart worked, since it gets stuck on boosters for some reason, the track will also connect to the storage so people dont have to make multiple long trips to collect all their loot

14. A picture of the branch mine located at level 8, cant see anything but the tunnel is currently 200 blocks long, there is a second floor and 3 unused directions in the main hub of the public mine

Construction wise? Burned through about 50-odd stacks of cleanstone(whoever is complaining about 9, don't, it's really not much), coal is always out. We usually have 9 furnaces blasting away and still run out of cleanstone before it's finished cooking, we dug up a ton of dirt as well, most of which was shipped off to squids_eye. Theres also a farm producing a stack and a half of bread every time the wheat is collected. We also have about a stack of each type of mushroom, and a lot of bonemeal for growing them. I'd reckon the whole project is about 15% done at the moment, theres a TON of stuff still to do, and some of the things will probably be reconstructed.
And now for a fun story; Wen't through a nether portal, it connected to one already places in the nether... fair enough. Step back through, pop out SEVEN HUNDRED blocks away from the original nether portal, what the fuck.
Hey Profan, I saw you placed a sign in my property next to spawn, to where are you planning to move it?

Let the epic build continue!!! (tomorrow, g2g sleep, that wall is going to take a while)
Imo this server really needs a /home plugin.
Shit, I forgot that you can set your spawnpoint by laying in a bed. Ignore this post.
Imo this server really needs a /home plugin.
So everyone would go mine and then /home out? Sorry, but i don't see why you would need home, if you need to go somewhere, you just walk there and back. Once everything is connected by rails, there's even less reason to have a /home plugin.
So I've been making this plugin to give ender pearls a use

It makes any block[sp]except blacklisted ones[/sp]instantly drop themselves allowing you to get otherwise unobtainable materials such as redstone ore, grass blocks, dead shrubs etc, or just mine quickly if you've got a disgusting amount of them.
You can try it out on the dev server for now fellowsgame.net:25566
Can their use be tracked by blocklog?
Finally finished flattening the area where the main section my prison will be built with a lot of help from Furohman and Ogris.

Now I have to build the outerwalls and inner walls, mark out where each building goes, lay down some paths, light the place up and then finally start building the cell blocks and the other buildings.
Any help is welcome. I'm going to need a lot of stone and coal so I'm willing to whore myself out if anyone has any large digging projects they need help with if i can keep what i dig.

We got a mine right below the city, feel free to dig to your hearts content.
Can their use be tracked by blocklog?
Yes, they appear the same as if a block was broken by the player.
Overdone Incorporated and Trojan Powder Company are now in operation and digging towards spawn.
Once we reach spawn we'll be trading bread, meat, cakes, wheat/seeds and varius building materials such as smoothstone, stone brick, clay brick, and wood in bulk in exchange for mining products (such as coal, iron, gold, diamond, etc)
I really hope this whole trade thing works out, a server economy with actual standards for trade makes me really excited for some reason...
Finally constructed and filled The Nautilus's main chamber: an 2 story octagon roughly 18 blocks across. It contains thousands of blocks of dirt, and tomorrow I'll have the fun of capping it and hollowing it out again.
My plan is to have 6 rectangular chambers branching off of the main chamber, 3 per story, plus an airlock on the vacant wall. Once the frame is built I'll add a proper interior.
