"Maybe in due time comrade," she salutes. A notification pops up on a new anime episode of Supēsu no ēsu, or Ace of Space, airing tonight. She smiles lightly, then swipes it away, reading her article again.
"Of course. When you meet Porter again, can you tell him that we should do that sparing match soon. I got some pent up aggression I need to get rid of and I doubt he likes sitting around all day."
"I think he's cleaning his shotgun, I'll message the big guy," which she does and complete in five seconds tops. Porter gets a notification which reads "Alex wants to fight you in the mess hall." Porter chuckles then responds, saying he'll be there after he finishes up cleaning.
Ahaz calls out to Amelia, "Want anything or just sitting there?"
"Nothing from the likes of you, thanks."
"Alright." Ahaz starts cleaning the bar. He was a bit hurt.
With nothing else to do, Moloch decided to visit the mess hall and inquire Alex about whatever sustenance is available that could be offered to him. "Greetings." he said as he entered.
"Yeah Ahaz, best to not offer her any drinks in the forseeable future."
Greetings.
Alex turned around slowly to face Moloch. "I was wondering where you would show up. Dont know if you got the message, but I need to know any information about your diet. Preferences. Alergies. Anything you cant eat for any reason."
Amelia stares menacingly at Moloch. She takes a sip of her hot chocolate, slowly.
"As long as it is prepared Halal, chef. And nothing that comes from pigs, please." Moloch sat at an empty table by himself before pulling out a bag of tea. "Do you happen to have hot water by any chance?"
Taylor stepped of the Muramasa for a few moments, just long enough to alert Checkered about the food and drink issue. Can't have the crew flying around on an empty stomach, and she she didn't everyone was up for fish or whatever Alex had left. After checking with Argos about the food problem, she reboarded and headed straight for Frosty's room. Time to see what had happened while he was gone. She made her way to the crew quarters, and knocked on Frosty's door. "Frosty? Its me, Taylor. I need to talk to you about some things if that's alright." she said, stepping back and putting her hands on her hips as she waited.
The door to Frosty's cabin opened up very slightly. The dark interior was broken by only a fraction of Frosty's rather tired face. He stared at Taylor with a sad expression.
Taylor noticed his expression and the general look of his face. He looked like shit. "...Just need to talk to you about what happened before and what happened while you were gone...if that's alright with you." he said, her tone much softer than before. "Can I come in?"
Frosty said nothing. Though he did open up his door and step back in response.
Taylor steps inside quietly and shuts the door behind her. "...First off, I just want to say that we are going to keep Moloch under constant watch in case he tries to do anything. I wasn't here when he first took you, but I do know what all went on from what Janos showed me." she said, walking over and sitting on a chair across from Frosty's bed. "...I know you might not want to hear this, but at the time, letting you go with him was our best option. Yuga was wanting to capture Moloch by force while he was aboard for her own personal reasons. She considered him a heretic because of his actions involving healing you. If the crew had tried to capture Moloch and stop him from taking you back to his people, we might have risked a lot more casualties. Amy and Valkyrie were already incapacitated." She paused for a moment, then continued. "We had a vote after Moloch took you, and removed Yuga from her position as captain on the grounds that she was doing things more for personal gain and didn't care about crew lives."
"Ahaz, get the guy some water." Alex stood there in silence for a few seconds. "So nothing that isnt Halal. You muslim by any chance?"
"Most certainly. Shia muslim, to be exact. Perhaps one of the very few remaining left in the galaxy." replied Moloch.
Bucky opens up her door after hearing Janos knock and beams at him. "Come in! We just finished up the first race, Mercy won. How you doing, Janos? We haven't gotten to hang out in a while."
Hesita and her mechanical sisters begin laying down the ground work for the three patients operations within the medbay. Zeta-2 and 7 started working on both Amy and Valkyrie, working with the updated equipment their fellow brothers, Hephaestus Zeta 4 and 9 had installed with their non sapient underlings. While Zeta-2 had begun the extensive calculations required for the very delicate surgical operations planed ahead for Amy's skin graph. And Zeta-7 was preoccupied with a standard procedure of preparing the mechanical augmentations to be fitted into Valkyrie's cranium. "Now Mister Hariim, please relax during the operation." A clam, feminine said softly to Harrim while he laid lifeless within the medbay. Hesita Zeta-6 then started rebuilding Hariim body, his operation was an fairly routine undertaking during her time within the Evzoni. A case of replacing his damaged and ruined flesh with hardened synthetic substitutes. Nano weaving them carefully into his body with her fingers, them each spiting into a dozen medical instruments. Her countless nanites flow in and out throughout his blood and body, carrying and injecting many chemicals to ease his nerves. While others individually mended the stained muscle while Zeta-6 operated on more troublesome areas. Though some masses of said issue had to be eventually replaced synth muscles, another thing Zeta-6 had carried from the Evzoni. While Zeta-6 worked with Hariim, the other two sisters had begin starting their work with growing and crafting Amy's synthetic flesh and with analyzing Valkyrie's brain for implantation.
János scratched the back of his head, as he heard Bucky's question. "I've been better, to be honest," he commented whilst entering the room. He placed his communicator on her table. "I wanted to ask you about this earlier, but my comm got broken back during the mission. The motherboard and the miniature storage device within are completely shot, along with the parts around it. "Could you find me a replacement comm later?" he asked as he sat down.
Hariim's unique headware wakes him up. The nerve trunks to his body are still severed, but the foreign nanites running through his blood stream are enough to trip an old contingency plan he put in place a decade ago. His eyes open, cast their gaze around, and settle on Zeta-6. His voice is..... flat. There's no inflection to it. "Why are you operating on me?" He asks plainly. He recognizes the make and model of Zeta-6, and the setting of the Muramasa's med bay.
"Hunted by Sol or Creed?"
Bucky nods entheusiastically. "I'll fab one up for you when we're done here. At least the manufactory units still work on this crate." She says with her more usual jovial bubbly tone. Without further adieu she hands Janos a controller and plops down on her bunk next to Mercy. "Have a seat buddy-boy. And get ready to have your steely ass handed to you!"
János did a chortle in response. "Well, I hope that I'll at least win once, so prepare to eat my dust."
"Why are you operating on me?"
Hesita Zeta-6 pauses her work as she notices Hariim's unexpected response, turning her head to met with the patient's eyes. "Because you have been injured in a hostile boarding action, Mister. M'baal. I I'm here help with you with your wounds and injuries." Zeta-6 explained softly towards the impaired man.
"Neither. Those two won't dare touch us if they know what is best for them." replied Moloch. [editline]7th November 2016[/editline] ------------------------------------------------------ As Taylor went on speaking, Frosty's expression turned from sadness, to anger, to pure rage. He did not like hearing what Taylor was telling him. If Taylor looked closely into his eyes, she could see something broke inside. He rested his head in his hands, with his hands shaking. He looked up towards Taylor again. "Taylor... Janos is a fucking idiot. You saw what he showed you, yes? You saw he deliberately LET MOLOCH TAKE ME. He let that man take me, AND HE CONVINCED EVERYONE TO STAND DOWN TOO!! Moloch put on a smile and he had Janos on his god damn knees! You shouldn't be listening to a word he says, Taylor! That man is the reason i'm like this right now! Maybe if Janos and the crew had something resembling a SPINE, they would have fought to keep me away from Moloch! He was just ONE MAN! ONE. MAN!!!" Frosty stood straight up with murder in his eyes. He's in the mood to kill someone.
-snip-
"You expect either to use common sense? I mean, you saw Maddox. And you have me to vouch for the other one." He said while moving his sleeve to show the Creed brand on his wrist.
"ONE MAN ON A SHIP FULL OF NON-COMBAT PERSONNEL." barked Taylor. She stood up as well, locking eyes with Frosty. "Yes. He was one man. One man we did NOT know, and had no idea of what the fuck he was capable of. HE HEALED YOU WITH JUST HIS HANDS. What else do you think he could do, huh? He could have probably killed all of them with a simple fucking touch." she continued. "Would you have rather have Moloch just kill everyone and walk off the fucking ship with you?"
"To be honest, Taylor, seeing how the rest of you were so easily swayed by him, MAYBE HE SHOULD'VE!!!" responded Frosty.
