Amelia hears some intense arguing from the crews quarters, but she can't be bothered, because this manga is just too primo. :ok: Porter, however, just finished up cleaning, and walks out of his room to see what the all the hoopla about.
"Hey Moloch, I've been meaning to ask you. What did you do to Frosty while he was with you?" Jason looks at Moloch while sipping some of his tea.
Taylor just looked at Frosty for a few moments, then finally spoke again. "...You know what? I'll talk to you later. After you've cooled off. I'm not going to stand here and yell at you while you're clearly not in the right state of mind. You're upset, I understand that, and this conversation is going nowhere at the moment." She turned, and headed towards his door. "You're confined to quarters till you calm down. If I see you out of here, you'll be in the brig. Am I understood?" she stated, pausing for a brief moment and looking back at him. "And I'll be the one to put your ass in it. I will not have violence amongst my crew. I do not tolerate that shit."
Bucky starts the next race with a shit-eating grin. This is her element. The fun party animal that loves good honest fun. She treats Janos and Mercy to a fun evening of games and her fine selection of snacks for as long as they please. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hariim grunts and settles in. "How bad is the damage this time? I shut off the nerve connections at the C1 vertebrae temporarily so I could focus. Did the Muramasa get free of the Vultures?" Hariim asks like he's just talking shop with somebody.
Frosty couldn't do anything else but just sit down in his bed. "Yes, Captain..." [editline]7th November 2016[/editline]
"You expect either to use common sense? I mean, you saw Maddox. And you have me to vouch for the other one."
"Then they are more than welcome to let natural selection claim them for being stupid enough."
As Taylor reached the door, she paused once again. "Frosty, the crew does care about you. Regardless of what you think, what someone has told you, or what happened before. You're one of us." she said, glancing over at him, before departing the room. As she departed the room, she noticed Porter out in the hall. "Frosty is confined to quarters till I say otherwise. Understood?" she said, looking at him before turning and walking off. This had basically killed her mood for the day. She sighed as she strolled through the ship.
[QUOTE"How bad is the damage this time? I shut off the nerve connections at the C1 vertebrae temporarily so I could focus. Did the Muramasa get free of the Vultures?"
"The "Vultures' made a interment retreat at the sight of Argos's forces, the crew suffered little damage in comparison to the damage that you had sustained during the engagement. No casualties on the Muramasa side due to your efforts, mister M'baal. Through your body was heavily damaged during the battle." Hestia says softly while putting her hands behind her back and taking a more upright posture towards him.
"Frosty is confined to quarters till I say otherwise. Understood?"
Porter simply nods his head before he could ask any questions, then leans against the wall next to the door, crossing his arms.
János had chosen the balanced vehicle, like usual. As he raced, he thought of what he'll do once he got his replacement communicator. He would have to send Taylor a message, telling her that Frosty had spoken to Yuga earlier when he returned, as well as offering to show Frosty what he had shown her, as he had originally hoped to do. It would also ask her to meet him in his room when she can in order to discuss something very personal to him. For now, however, he has to concentrate and try to at least win one race.
Then they are more than welcome to let natural selection claim them for being stupid enough.
"Right. I'll keep that in mind. I assume sushi is fine with you?"
"Hey Moloch, I've been meaning to ask you. What did you do to Frosty while he was with you?"
"None of your business, stranger."
"Right. I'll keep that in mind. I assume sushi is fine with you?"
"If it is not made with rice wine, then I will take a plate."
"Alex where my sushi at!" Amelia barks.
Bucky seems about the equal of Janos for reflexes, but his better for experience. The androids trade wins, with Mercy taking a few for herself, eventually tying at the end. "Fuuuhhhkkk!" Bucky exclaims just as Janos sneaks a victory in their last race. "Damn, man. You've gotten better!"
János couldn't believe how good he had gotten at the game. His hand was on his cheek in amazement. "T-Thanks!" he responded.
"Seeing as the alchohol supplies got destroyed during the fight, you're in luck." He went inside the kitchen and wheeled what was prepared in the mess hall.
Alex where my sushi at!
"I'm right here. Use your indoor voice." He said while handing her a tray of sushi. He started to feel tired. The day was starting to catch up with him. "If anyone needs me, I'll be in my cabin." He said as he left for his cabin. Once there, he collapsed on the bed.
"I'm right here. Use your indoor voice."
Amelia murders her food and devours the crumbs. She slumps down in her chair as the last bit of sushi rolls down her throat and into her stomach. She then lets out a loud burp followed by an exasperated sigh.
Yuga looks over from her booth with an annoyed expression. She lowers her teacup from her face and looks in Amelias direction, "Were you not taught any manners as a child, ms Weinheart?".
Bucky offers Janos a high-five and checks on the autofabbers she's had running. "Alright, J. Looks like your new comm is done building. Swing by the maintenance bay and you'll see it; first alcove on the right." Bucky also gives Mercy her comm number, and an open invitation to call if she wants to hang out or play vidya whenever.
"Were you not taught any manners as a child, Ms. Weinheart?".
"Valk's worse. Trust me." said Taylor, glancing at Yuga and Amelia as she passed. She was going to find something to drink. Coffee, maybe. There wasn't any booze left, otherwise she'd be drowning herself in vodka.
"Were you not taught any manners as a child, ms Weinheart?"
Amelia looks over, fully slumped in her chair. She grins at Yuga, then makes a tiny burp, "Sorry," she apologizes before burping again.
Unlike Amelia, Moloch is a person with fine manners, and quietly eats his serving while savoring it's flavor.
János nodded. "Thanks, B. Hope to play more soon!" he said, as he left for the maintenance bay.
Amelia gets up from her seat and walks to Moloch's table before having a sit down across from him, "You're new aren't 'cha?" she rests her head with one hand, throwing her now empty hot chocolate cup into the trash. Nothing but net, well, in this case, the trash bag.
Hariim seems satisfied. "Don't hold off on my account. I can't feel anything past my jawline. What's with the new units I'm registering on the local mesh network? More medical androids?" ----------------------------------------------- Bucky beams at Janos as he makes his way out. She puts out a general blurb to the crew (except for Markus) about her quarters being open for vidya, movies, snacks, and booze. She locks her door open to hide Markus' vandalism.
Yo, guys. My quarters are open for vids, vidya, snack, and booze. Come on down if you wanna blow off steam.
"Not quite. I was here earlier when I came to receive Frosty." said Moloch in between sipping his tea.
"Not quite. I was here earlier when I came to receive Frosty."
"Still, new or not, we never talked, so hello, I'm Amelia, nice to meet you..." she leans her head in as to say, 'what's your name'
"Moloch. Greetings, Amelia."
"Nice to meet 'cha, pard'ner!" she extends her hand for a handshake, "What's your job on the ship?"
Moloch extends his hand to shake Amelia's. "I am a medical practitioner. My job on this ship is to ensure the well-being and physical health of the crew, and perhaps mental health as well. What is yours?"
