"Yoooooo, is that fucking Ace of space?"
Amelia's eyes light up in happiness, "Why, yes! It is!! We just started episode 4, join us!!!" she pats the chair next to her, "Care for some popcorn as well?"
"Yes. Give it here!" Amy grabbed the bowl of popcorn as she moved in into her seat. "Episode 4, huh? Oh shit is gonna go insane from here on out. First time watching?"
"I was watching up to episode 3 and I haven't watched the rest yet. Really excited to be honest. Haven't been so hooked on a space show since Space Dandy. Boy oh boy that was good stuff," she chomps down on her own bowl of popcorn.
"You're gonna love episode 4, I can tell." Amy looked at the opening sequence bfore speaking again, not moving her gaze from the screen. "Here's a tip, find yourself someone who looks at you the same way Ace looks at his ship. You'll never find love of such purity anywhere else."
"The ship itself is just... beautiful! I'd want one like it, might not be that expensive... I hope." Amelia adds, before watching the show again, not saying a word. (( Updated pic of Amelia. Thanks, Infab! )) [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/51118976/Extra/Stuffy-Stuff/Amelia.jpg[/t]
((Goddamn spaceweebs))
"Yanim asked us for 3 things we want each. Send it to Neasha, maybe she will let you buy one." Amy remembered that she needed to send her own list. She opened her holopad to do that when she saw something else. A transaction to her bank account. Huh. Must have been the payment for the last job. She wondered how much she got. 120 MILLION CREDITS? Amy gripped the armrest of her chair as she calms down. She typed out a quick message to Neasha
To:Neasha From:Amy Subject:3 things 1.The new model Black widow sniper. 2.A Banshee model combat suit. 3.Limited eddition Space Ace figure. (Not a word about this to anyone!)
After sending the message, she got back to watching, feeling happy with herself.
Bucky chills out with Amelia and Amy. She's quiet, but seems glad of the company. After a while she excuses herself and heads out to start work on the Muramasa. "Thanks for having me, Amelia! We gotta do it again sometime."
Porter walks into the mess hall, wanting to meet Valkyrie after she woke up. He takes a seat across from her, "Glad to see you're awake. Amelia was worried."
Taylor observed as this big green person hocked one hell of a wad of mucus into the trash chute. The entire act made her queezy. "...Ew." she muttered simply, a disgusted look her face as she shook her head. She then noticed that he had shrank back down to a smaller size. Her disgusted look changed to a surprised one. That's interesting, to say the least. Could be useful too. Well, that's two scientists we'll have on board. Wonder how Amelia will take working with someone else? Especially one with...uhm...severe allergies? She also wondered what the next ship was gonna be. Hopefully it was gonna pack more firepower. They barely survived that fight with the frigate. Plus they'll need a lot of room for everyone as well as for what people were probably going to be requesting in regards to equipment. Taylor sighs, and decides to head back inside. "If you need me, boss, I'll be back on the ship." said Taylor, as she turned and left the small group. She headed back aboard the Muramasa, heading towards the crew quarters. Time to check on Frosty. She heads straight to his door, and knocks. - - - - - - - -
"Glad to see you're awake. Amelia was worried."
Valk's eyes travel up from her holotablet, meeting Porter's 'face'. "Yeah, we spoke in the medbay." said Valk, as she looked back down at what she was doing. "Where have you been?" she asked.
"Nothing, really. Cleaning guns, talking with SSOID back home, military stuff," he twirls his fingers around, "I heard you called Amelia 'honey' and she freaked out on you. Have fun with that? Haha," he chuckles through his mask, a bit of steam hisses outward.
"I heard you called Amelia 'honey' and she freaked out on you. Have fun with that? Haha."
Valk looked up, tilting her head and raising an eyebrow. "What? I never called her 'honey'. Did your brain get scrambled when you guys fought that shit monster or something?" she replied, before looking down at what she was doing. "...SSOID, huh? Fucking figures." she muttered afterwards. Fuckin' spooks, the lot of 'em.
"Please, come forth." spoke a voice inside Frosty's cabin.
Porter thinks to himself, "Ohohoho yeah, that was um... Amy. Sorry about that, can't even remember the simplest of things these days." he rests his hand on top of his helmet, moving it awkwardly, "Don't need to act so barbaric, Valk."
Markus came strolling with a beer in hand and a six pack in the other and noticed Taylor knocking on Frosty's door. "Oya, Cap. The nervous wreck finally up? Might as well give I'm something refreshin'" he said, jingling his sixpack.
"Don't need to act so barbaric, Valk."
"You'd know if I was acting barbaric." said Valk, glancing up. The look on her face was rather serious. "And you know that I'm not really a fan of the SDF or anyone that is associated with it." - - - - - - -
"Oya, Cap. The nervous wreck finally up? Might as well give I'm something refreshin'"
Taylor looked back to see Markus standing there with a six pack of beer. She made a smirk, before shaking her head. "Doubt he wants to drink, but stick around. I might need a hand if he gets rowdy." she said, before opening the door to Frosty's room.
Markus took a swig from his beer and raised an eyebrow when Taylor said that he might get rowdy. "An' what the hell is that supposed to mean?" he said has he followed Taylor inside Frosty's cabin.
"Barbarism is one of the better traits you can have, Porter. Gets you close and personal with a personal with someone faster than any other method." Alex said as he exited the kitchen. "Food is done by the way."
"I don't know much about the crew here, just doing my job making sure no one kills each other. Tell me, what is it about the SDF that makes your blood boil? The laws? Ban on religion? I am curious."
"Barbarism is one of the better traits you can have, Porter. Gets you close and personal with a personal with someone faster than any other method."
"I've gone that route once and I fully regret it."
Sitting up straight and neatly on Frosty's bed, the ayatollah glared at Taylor and Markus as they came inside. "Bottom of the night to you." spoke the ayatollah in a voice which ran like water and flowed smoothly like a river.
Markus stopped with a confused look on his face and leaned into Taylor, "That ain't yer snowcone, mate. Least not any rags I've ever seen 'im in."
"I don't know much about the crew here, just doing my job making sure no one kills each other. Tell me, what is it about the SDF that makes your blood boil? The laws? Ban on religion? I am curious."
"Well, let me list the reasons, then!" said Valk, putting away her tablet and leaning on the table with her elbows. "First off! My parents fucking hated you guys. Like, really genuinely despised the SDF. Would have killed you, Taylor, Mad, and Hariim on sight. Both were pirates themselves, used to be members of the Hellions. Heard of them, right? Well, it passed on to me. So the hatred runs in the family. Second! You fuckers killed them! I know, a real classic, right? SDF troopers boarded the freighter we were living on. They then proceed to kill both of my parents right in front of me. A fucking thirteen year old kid!" Valkyrie was visibly getting angrier as she continued. "I stabbed one of them in the thigh with a box cutter, and he knocks me out. They drag me off the ship, and decide later to scrap my parent's freighter. And here's number three! I'm taken back to Terra and put into a fucking orphanage. Forced to grow up like you fucks instead of the way I wanted to. The way my parents wanted me to. Forced to be a fucking civilized drone of a person. So guess what? I'm not going to fucking do it. I will do what the fuck I want, when I want, how I want. And fuck everyone that stands in my way." Valkyrie stood up, looked up to Alex, and smiled. "Good. I'm starving. Lets eat!" she said, before heading over to where the food was. Leaving Porter sitting there alone. - - - - - - - - Taylor froze when she saw 'Frosty' sitting there on his bed, in drastically different clothing. And his voice...was unnaturally smooth and silky. "...Frosty?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. Did he get the clothes out of that lockbox that he had?
"That ain't yer snowcone, mate. Least not any rags I've ever seen 'im in."
Taylor glanced to Markus, then back to Frosty. "...uhm...you alright, Frosty? What's with the outfit?"
Moloch was so impressed by Valkyrie's angry tirade against the SDF that he immediately shot out of his seat and began applauding. "OH, HO HO HO HO!" came out his laugh. "Praise be to God! You are so right, Ms. Valkyrie!" ------------------------- The ayatollah glanced back and forth between Markus and Taylor. "Mr. Frosty, you say? He is not here at this moment. Though, you are more than welcome to keep me company if you so wish."
Yanim acknowledged Taylor as she excused herself. Things were beginning to fall into place for business to proceed, and so she spoke a short message over the Muramasa's comms.
Crew, as of now, our company does not have any major contracts to fulfill. Captain Sharpe and his crew have decided to move on from our company and they are leaving their ship behind, per our purchasing agreement. So, it seems natural that, until we have arranged the purchase of a new fighting vehicle, you should temporarily relocate to the Cataract. Additionally, we have decided to fully review company policy regarding contracts. When the time is appropriate, I will request for Captain Caine and her first officer to meet with me and the executive staff of the company. Before then, however, I would like to speak privately with Bucky, Markus, and János. That is all.
Porter sighs, watching Valk have a petty tantrum before storming off. 'Not only is she blind to not think for herself, her anger issues could harm the crew someday. If she learns that hatred isn't passed down, she could have been a different, perhaps likeable person...' Porter starts to recollect his thoughts back from the war, the days he himself purged others. He even killing ones that were young. Perhaps too young... He might be similar to Valk in more ways than he thought. He gets up from the table and walks around the ship, about the men, women... and children he's slaughtered in the name of Sol. Was it worth killing them? Was it justified? He thinks about these questions as he sulks about, pondering about the past...
Mercy looked up as the comms blared out. She initially met it dismissively, and with something of a frown, however, as soon as she heard the words "relocate to the Cataract" her face instantly lit up. "A-ha, home sweet home..." She said to herself in the now-empty medbay. "...And I suppose it would be good for me to move zhe stuff from my old room to zhe new ship. Once it is repaired, anywho." She kept talking to herself, before going back to browsing pirated Universal Ero- the news. Yeah, totally.
Markus glanced up towards the roof as if he tried to locate the intercom. He took a look at Frosty before turning to Taylor, "Looks like I've got some business to take care of." he said as he exited the room. He walked over to his own cabin, chugged his beer on the way and threw the sixpack onto his bed. He put on his jacket and his combat vest. He then headed for the cargo ramp to see what the boss lady had to say, but he knew he would have a few words for her as well.
Amelia turned off the TV and gathered her belongings before heading on down to the ramp with Amy behind her, finna relocating.
Taylor took note of what Yanim said over the intercom, then listened to 'Frosty'.
"Mr. Frosty, you say? He is not here at this moment. Though, you are more than welcome to keep me company if you so wish."
Frosty's not here at the moment? Who was she talking to then? Great, did Moloch bop him hard enough that it gave him a split personality? "...who am I talking to at the moment, then?" she asked. She heard Markus depart, before she stepped farther into the room.
Mercy actually kind of realizes she actually has to board the ship, and saves a few quick pic- articles for further... study, turning off her holotablet and walking out of the ship and towards the Cateract.
