Maddox returns to the Cataract armory and waves at the people inside. He dumps two large duffelbags and his large backpack next the only office desk inside the room. He then resumes unpacking the crates, starting with the one housing his prototype robot.
Moloch saw that it was his turn to speak to Yanim, and so he approached her. "Excuse me, Ms. Yanim, but I have a simple question I would like to ask. The old vessel, the Muramasa. What will become of it?" ------------------------------------------------------- Frosty has no idea where he is, and tried talking to Valkyrie as she passed by, only for her to go away before he was able to say a word. He tried calling out to anyone in the quarters in case someone was nearby. "Hello? Anyone here?"
What's up? We stealin' people's shit? I call Taylor's trench knife if its in there.
Amy kept on working on her project. "Can't steal shit. Maddox will get cranky at us and I need him to help me with something." She noticed him walk in. "Speak of the devil, hi Mad." --- Alex poked out of his quarters after hearing Frosty. "In here Frosty. You feel better?"
Thank god, someone else was here that Frosty could talk to. "I can only wish... Where are we?"
"Muramasa is in no condition to be of any use anymore. So we moved on to a new ship called the Cataract."
"... The eye disease? What kind of name is that?" said Frosty incredulously. "And if we moved, then where are my belongings? Please please don't tell me they got left behind."
"Must have ran out of names. The ship I was on before the Muramasa was called the Iron shalaylee. Don't worry about your stuff. Maddox is handling the transportation." He realised what he just said and now he wasnt sure of he should be worried or not.
If Alex looked closely, he would've been able to see something click inside Frosty's eye. For just a brief moment, a look of anger came across his face as the rest of his body seized up before he shook it off. "Is my starfighter ok, however? I would be useless without it."
"Pardon the pun, but chill out, Frosty. The starfighter is probably in the process of being hooked on the current ship. Do you really think Rask and Yanim wouldnt go for the crew's strenghts and not secure it?"
"Oh no, no, no... I just wanted to make sure. Where is everyone else?"
"Probably getting to know the ship. We just moved here."
"Oh, I see. Well, I have another bothersome question if you're not busy."
"Go ahead."
"Have you prepared any food? I haven't eaten in a while and i'm a little hungry."
Maddox waves. "You're not up to any pranks in here, are you?" He pulled up the robot in a sitting position and inserted a cable into its neck. With the cable secured Maddox grabbed his tablet and began to run some diagnostics. "Let's see here..."
Have you prepared any food? I haven't eaten in a while and i'm a little hungry
"I prepared something back on the Muramasa. Leftovers should be in the fridge. And the contents of that should be in one of these boxes. The fuck is the kitchen on this ship?" --- "Mad, how good are you at making armor?"
Maddox looked up from his tablet. "Good, why?" He gestured towards the stacks of crates still waiting to get unpacked. "I still have some raw materials to work with but if you want something fancier and custom-made that will take a while." "That is, assuming you don't have any blueprints."
"What do you think this right here is?" She pointed towards the blueprints."A catalog for Khergian mail order brides?"
Bucky doesn't seem to know what to say at first, she simply smiles back at Yanim and nods. "I'll uh, pull together that list then. Thanks boss!"
Valkyrie looked through one of the boxes till she found the rest of her gear Mad had brought over from the Armory in the Muramasa. She pulled her cutlass out of the crate, and unsheathed it. There was some smeared blood along the blade, indicating that it had been used recently and had not been cleaned off properly. She raised an eyebrow. "Well, at least someone got fucked up." she muttered, wiping the blood away with the bottom of her shirt. She looked it over again. Perfect. She twirled it around a bit. Soon enough, she'd be ready to gut some poor fuck with it...if they weren't wearing any thick armor. She thought for a few moments, then got an idea. She could have it upgraded with a high-frequency blade. Then it'd be able to slice through tough armor like butter. She grinned at the thought, imagining slicing through a certain person's power suit.
Markus crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow to Mercy, "soo... did ya need anythin, doc?"
Maddox chuckled and put down his tablet. He walked up to Amy and crossed his arms while nodding towards the blueprints. "Show me."
Jason came out of his cabin with a duffel bag. he checks his duffel bag to see if he had anything important left behind. he zips up his bag and left, but. wandered in the Cargo bay and saw Valk, Amy and Maddox "Hey guys, what are you doin' out here?"
János finally made his way outside of the Muramasa, and walked up to Yanim. He did a Zogist-esque salute with a troubled expression. "I apologize for not coming sooner. Jag incapacitated one of the more heavily armored Vultures, and as a result, I've been watching them in the Brig. They're awake now, but they are incredibly groggy," he informed the Boss.
"Hey guys, what are you doin' out here?"
Valk snapped out of her little daydream, looking back at Jason as he entered. "Nothing, really." said Valk. She twirled her cutlass a bit more, before sheathing the blade on her hip.
"As you can see its a design of the suit I wore when I first came here. Seeing as that old one got destroyed, I need to make a new one. But there is room for upgrades." She showed him the blueprints. Specifically the locations where all the important bits went and how the suit would function.
Mercy snapped out of her trance and looked over to Markus,
"soo... did ya need anythin, doc?"
"Hm? Oh, no, no... Not yet anyways." She finished off, giving Markus a cheeky wink.
"Mind if i join you? I got nothing to do until we switch ships"
((Juger we're standing inside the Cataract right now.)) Maddox nodded. "I can make this work. Should be done before everything here is packed up." He scanned the blueprint and in response two of the workshop machines came to life, spinning up before construction could commence. "Any special requests on the side? Bling? Upyri fabric? A godmode?" Asked Maddox with a hint of laughter at the end.
"Mind if i join you? I got nothing to do until we switch ships"
"Uh...we just switched ships. Everyone is coming here to the Cataract...are you all there in the head?" said Valk, turning and giving Jason a look. She finally shook her head. "Nevermind. You can do what you want since we're not going to be doing anything any time soon." she said, shrugging. She glanced over to Amy and Mad, then Mercy and Markus. Well, she was stuck talking to this new guy. "So what exactly do you do on the crew? Merc? Navigator? Gunner?" she asked, folding her arms and looking down at them. She noticed some of the tats were looking a bit faded. She'd touch 'em up later.
