"I can't open the door from within."
Taylor glances back at Hariim and motions towards the door. "Open it up." she said.
Hariim opens it up as ordered, and rests his hand on the butt of his sidearm in case he needs to draw it. -------------------- Bucky nods and looks through them all quickly, kicking her legs slowly as she does. "You're such an artist, Valk. These are really good!"
Taylor looked back to the door, and watched it open. She kept her revolver out, but held it down by her side. - - - - - - - - - - "Thanks...I draw them in my free time, along with drone designs. Those are on there too if you want to look at those." she said. She was cleaning her tattoo gun, getting it ready for work.
The stench of something burning was the first thing they sensed the second Moloch's door opened. The second was the sight of Frosty's tired and weary face. He looks just as depressing as he normally did.
He looks like crap. Damnit. "Peaceful way, or hard way?" asked Taylor, "I don't want to hurt you, Frosty. All you have to do is just walk to the brig with Hariim. Alright?"
Frosty turned back to Moloch. He was sitting on his bed looking back at him, except now he had his hood on. "I suppose there's no other way out of this, Mr. Frosty. Do as they say." He got up and stood behind Frosty. Frosty turned back to Taylor.
Taylor steps out of the way, and motions them out. "Hariim, escort them to the brig. Porter, Alex, you two are with me. I'll send Hariim a message to unlock the door when we get to Markus' quarters."
Well these two are smart enough at least. Now comes the hard part. Markus. "So if Markus decides to play rough, how do we handle him?"
"Lead the way, Hariim." said Frosty.
"So if Markus decides to play rough, how do we handle him?"
"We grab him and drag his ass to the brig." said Taylor bluntly. She holstered her revolver. She fully expected a fight from Markus. The question was, fist fight or gun fight? "If he shoots at us, Porter can pop him a few times with those bean bags of his."
Maddox quietly observed Frosty and Moloch as they were marched by Hariim through the armory towards the brig. He didn't say anything and simply stared at them with a blank expression.
"Bottom of the night to you, Maddox." said Frosty as he passed him by.
Hariim takes Frosty and Moloch to the brig. He makes sure they are locked away securely in separate cells, and with no means of communication. He stays in the brig to await Markus' arrival. --------------------------------- Bucky doesn't seem so interested in drone designs. Instead, she sets the tablet aside and beams at Valkyrie. "You almost ready?"
Taylor and the others move over to Markus' quarters, and get ready. She knocks on the door. "Same thing I told Moloch and Frosty. We can do this the easy way or the hard way, Markus. Surrender and walk to the brig, or we'll drag you to it." - - - - - - - - Valkyrie loaded a black ink cartridge into the tattoo gun, then looked back at her. "Yeah, I'm ready. Got anything in mind you want right now? Or do you just want me to doodle?" she responded.
János spent his time on the new ship mostly dealing with the Heavy Vulture they had imprisoned on the Muramasa. His method of interrogation was adopted from what he recalled he did back in his living days - he first attempted to get to know the subject, acting casual and very dismissive of any threats thrown his way. While he couldn't guarantee that everything the fellow said was true, it would be a base. He managed to get a name out of him, identifying him as Thommas. From his interactions, he very quickly found that Thommas was very cold, an asshole even. He was incredibly sarcastic, a smartass even, and from the things he spoke, he could tell he was violent too. He ended up getting a bunch of common knowledge as well, such as him being part of the Death Vigil and working for Executor Mordecai, the basics. He knew he would have to switch tactics with him. He decided to take one more shot through friendliness. He got a few cans of beer with him, hoping that the guy would want a drink or three. Thommas accepted the liquor and the two started drinking - or at least, it looked like János was drinking. He played the sound of a tab opening and the sound of someone drinking in an attempt to look like he was drinking. While it looked like it was going to work at first, his hopes were dashed as the guy just got drunk and passed out. Once Thommas woke up, he once more attempted to interrogate him through alcohol - and failed again. The only things he had found out with this method was that the guy was a sad drunk and a lightweight. He sighed, as he put the guy back in his cell. He began looking into more intimidating methods of interrogation, seeing that Thommas seemed to not want to cooperate. Now, in the interrogation room, he decided to put his research into effect. Thommas still had a hangover when he was put in the room. He slammed onto the table to get his attention. "Now, Thom, I have been very reasonable with you during your time with us. But it seems you don't seem to appreciate what I'm doing for you. If you had been with anyone else at this point, they would've gutted you like a pig, to hang upside down as your blood drained out of your body, turning your skull into a fountain. "If I were to hand you over to anyone else on my crew, as I told you, you wouldn't be breathing for long. So, now, tell me what you know if you want to live." ((Use my Intimidation feat here.))
"That cog with the wrench in it looks really nice. Let's start with that, and then you can go wild. Okay?" Bucky sits back up and smiles at Valkyrie. She looks excited and expectant. "This is gonna be great!"
Valkyrie nods, then positions herself next to Bucky. "Where do you want it? Shoulder, back, lower back, chest, stomach..." her voice trailed off as she counted the spots off on her off hand.
"Hmmm. Chest? Or how about right under that? You could put it just below my sternum, that'd work." Bucky lifts up her shirt, and indicates a spot just below her bosom as the spot. "Good spot?"
Valk nodded, motioning for her to lay down. "First tattoo I've done there in a while. Most want them on the upper chest, or the back or something. Or down on their crotch." said Valkyrie, chuckling as she said that last statement. She got the other ink cartridges she needed ready, and pulled up the image on her tablet.
Jason stands there after hearing Valk say Maddox was a Spy all along. He slowly turns to the two and spoke up. "Thanks for the help Bucky, also. Valencia. Have fun with that. I'll be seeing you gals later" Jason puts his hand in the pockets of his Jacket. he then walks out of the room and heading straight to Amelia's room
Bucky lays back and get settled in. "Saw enough of that at work to last me a few operational times. No, I like to be a little different. Would it be easier if I just took the tank top off? I've got something on underneath so you won't get too distracted."
Valk shrugs. "I've already seen everything. Would distract the others more. Anyway, just pull it up far enough that I can work. You don't have to take it all the way off." she said, with a smirk, as she slipped on some purple latex gloves.
Maddox tapped his fingers on the desk nervously. His eyes darted across the room and a lone drop of sweat made its way across his face. "I need a plan B." He muttered. Thoughts raced through his head. He looked at the mechs and shook his head. Too weak. He looked at the armor rack. His armor wasn't heavy enough. He looked at the weapon rack. He can't carry enough guns. Suddenly he got up and bolted back to his quarters, locking the door. Ignoring the smell of urine and the overall mess he fished out his SSOID communicator with a trembling hand. "Come on, come on..." He entered the code and was given the go-ahead. "Enigma requesting assistance. Cover blown. Need immediate exfil." "Please hold, Enigma." Replied a calm voice on the other side. Maddox began to walk back and forth when the voice suddenly responded. "Enigma, exfil inbound in five days. Attempt reintegration untill then." Five days? Reintegration? Are they out of their fucking minds? Maddox was furious. Outside, a small muscle next to his left eye twitched. Something inside of him had snapped. He pulled up the communicator next to his mouth. "LISTEN HERE YOU DENSE MOTHERFUCKER, I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS FUCKING PROGRAM JUST SO YOU CAN DISMISS MY REQUEST AND CONTINUE TO JERK OFF TO WHATEVER LOW-BUDGET SANGHVI PORN YOU'RE WATCHING RIGHT NOW!" Maddox was basically foaming at this point. "YOU WILL SEND ME SOMEONE TO EXFIL ME RIGHT FUCKING NOW, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF NO ONE IS AVAILABLE BECAUSE THEN YOU CAN JUST GEAR UP AND COME GET ME YOURSELF YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE." "IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO HELP ME THEN YOU CAN GO OUT, FIND THE TALLEST LAMPPOST OUT IN THE STREET, CLIMB IT AND USE IT TO FUCK YOURSELF REAL HARD, BUDDY. YOU CAN TELL THE SENILE OLD DIRECTOR THAT I FUCKING QUIT." With that said Maddox tossed the communicator and stomped it with his boot several times untill the communicator had turned into a tiny pile of broken components. He stopped and looked around the room. His body began to shake as his adrenaline began to wear off. Maddox started to blink as he felt the presence of someone- or something- inside his room. The gunsmith pulled out his micro SMG and scanned the room. "Who's there?" His eyes darted between the hundreds of objects strewn across the room. Suddenly at the very edge of his vision he spotted something, a dark figure with two evil red eyes. Maddox quickly spun around and opened fire, puncturing the wall with a hail of kinetic projectiles. The figure disappeared and Maddox spun around once more. "Where the fuck are you? Show yourself!"
Bucky pulls up her shirt for Valkyrie and looks at her ruefully. "Wanna know a fun fact?" She asks. "You were actually the first one to see everything. I was never actually used as a sexbot. I was a hostess."
Meanwhile on Domino station Specter had a feeling of boredom overcome his mind. Their trip back to Gibel was short lived as they were send out for another mission the following week. Archangel was quiet about the details as usual, but he did share one thing. He was given a team for this and would disclose the details when they have all arrived. It was a weeklong process of pulling strings, but in the end they were going to meet at Domino station so they could get on with it. Specter was standing outside the ramp in his casual clothes, looking around the hangar. "Enjoying the view?" The familiar voice of his boss sounded behind him. Specter turned around only to be surprised. He was wearing a suit and tie of all things. "You have clothes? As in regular person clothes and not armor." "You expect me to walk around like a civilian with my armor on or something?" "I'm surprised you can exit that thing. I just thought it was part of you or something." "In a way it is, but I can get out of it in order to better blend in for covert operations. Speaking of which. Our new crew mates are commingright now." Archangel took out a holopad as a ship landed near them. From it a few defferent members of different races emerged. Humans, khergians and a kannad walked to their new boss with whatever luggage they had. Archangle looke at the group from left to right. "You will get codenames for this assingment as is procedure, so let me just look at these files here. First up. Huh, a married couple. Dominic and Cassandra. Says here you are a snipper team. Why they assing you to this job, I dont know, but I'll make use of your talents somehow. You two will be Vulture 5 and 6. Get in the ship and meet the rest. Moving on, you three."He looked at the three khergians "Khergian brothers. Names are not present, but it says you are brothers and that you are good with explosives and heavy weapons.(Living the steriotype) You pissed off someone up high, didn't you? Don't bother giving me your names since you'll be known as Golem 1,2 and 3. Get in." he then looked at the kannad. "You are, Arbak? Sounds unusual. Engineer and hacking expert.Arguably the most usefull for this job. You're now Kobold. Go." Specter was getting visibly more confussed with the names. Golem? Kobold? Before he could ask him why the new names, Archangel was talking to the last recruit. "Alvina. Upiry ace pilot. You're gonna be spending a lot of time with Specter here. So best learn to tolerate him. Codename is Countess by the way." "Hold up, hold up. What's with the codenames? Couldn't you keep to the theme at lest?" "What was the theme, Specter?" "Good point." "As I said. You'll learn to tolerate him. Now before we leave we have another matter to attend to here on Domino. Specter, Countess, you two are the least threatening members of the team and thus would blend in well. Follow me please." As they walked behind hime Alvina leaned in closer to Specter. "I feel like I just recieved a backhanded compliment from him." "Yeah. Get used to it. He likes to give those out." The trio walked inside the structure from the hangar, going to the main lobby of the bureau. Archangel coughed to get the woman at the help desk's attention. "Yes. Excuse me. Me and my collegues here need some directions. Where can we find Mad dog?" The woman was confused for a second. " Oh,Mirranda Taylor? She usually hangs around miss Tendall's office. That or the training floor." "Thanks. Uh, where s the office exactly? It's been a lifetime since I was last here." "Just up the stairs and to the right." The trio walked to the office, before knocking on the door, Archangel adjusted his tie again and spoke to his two crewmates. "Watch and learn a lesson on how to get under someone's skin." He knocked on the door to signal he was comming in. He was in luck. They were both there. "Mirranda 'Mad dog' Caine I presume?"
"Wanna know a fun fact? You were actually the first one to see everything. I was never actually used as a sexbot. I was a hostess."
"Guess I should feel honored, then." said Valkyrie, taking the tattoo gun back in hand after putting on the gloves. She leaned over, and got to work in the spot that Bucky had requested. She began by drawing the outlines to the cog and wrench in black ink. - - - - - - - - - -
"Miranda 'Mad dog' Caine I presume?"
Miranda looked over the bottom of the beer in her hand, gazing at the trio that had just walked in. A big guy in a suit, tailed by a smaller man and an Upyri woman. She could tell she was Upyri by the light bouncing off her eyes when she entered. That trademark blue flash. She finished her gulp of beer from the bottle, setting it down on the table in front of her. "Yeah? That's me." she said, getting up from the couch and walking over towards them. Lex, sitting nearby at her desk, glanced up and raised an eyebrow. She glanced down at her watch. Nah, that couldn't be the new hunters. They weren't dressed for the occasion, plus they shouldn't be through with the paperwork so quickly.
"Pleasure to finally meet you. The name is Archibald Engel if you were wondering. I represent the Death Vigil mercenary organization. Around two weeks ago, you had a unfortunate run in with a couple of our men on Prospera, correct?"
"Pleasure to finally meet you. The name is Archibald Engel if you were wondering. I represent the Death Vigil mercenary organization. Around two weeks ago, you had a unfortunate run in with a couple of our men on Prospera, correct?"
Lex looked to Miranda, and narrowed her eyes. Miranda sighed and nodded. "Yeah. I brushed a guy out of the way, he landed in a puddle of water, and it splashed some of you sugar skulls. I'm sure one of the grunts told you what happened after that?" she said, shifting her weight and shoving her hands into her jacket pockets. She looked this 'Archibald' guy over. Since when did sugar skulls wear suits? Unless he was their version of a lawyer. Ech. Lawyers.
"I guess, yeah." Silence then for a second. "You know, Valk, you're a pretty alright person when you're just chilling out. You're fun to hang around with. At least you treat me nice, most people don't think I'm worthy of that much."
"Yes. You embarrased him." He chuckeled. "Apropriate responce I might add. You see, The Executor would like to extend his apologies to the BCB for that. After all, you are valuable buisiness partners. So he wanted me to handle it. Pulling double shift as PR wasn't the smartest idea, I admit."
