"Yes. You embarrassed him." he chuckled. "Appropriate response I might add. You see, the Executor would like to extend his apologies to the BCB for that. After all, you are valuable business partners. So he wanted me to handle it. Pulling double shift as PR wasn't the smartest idea, I admit."
Miranda shrugged, shifting her stance again. "Eh, its fine. Its in the past." she said, tilting her head slightly and peering through her hair at him with her one good eye. "Besides, nobody got shot so no big deal, right?" - - - - - - - - -
"I guess, yeah." Silence then for a second. "You know, Valk, you're a pretty alright person when you're just chilling out. You're fun to hang around with. At least you treat me nice, most people don't think I'm worthy of that much."
"Well, I've nothing against you. There's shit I don't like about most of the others. Plus, you're an engineer just like me, and engineers have to deal with plenty of bullshit." said Valkyrie as she worked. "The only other three people I like aboard this ship so far are Markus, Yanim, and Rask. And I only like Yanim because of her sense of style." Yanim did have a way of dressing, plus Valk loved the hair.
"Yeah, she can be pretty nice. What do you like about me though? I like to think I'm nice, but sometimes I worry that I'm too peppy."
"True. And I have to admit, there is another reason I came here personally. I'm actually somewhat of a fan of your work and the chance to meet you here in person was too much to pass by." He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "And seeing that everything is fine, can I trouble you for a picture?"
Jason stands at the front of Amelia's door, Jason knocked on her door and waited for her to open it.
"Yeah, she can be pretty nice. What do you like about me though? I like to think I'm nice, but sometimes I worry that I'm too peppy."
"Nah, you're fine. If you were too peppy, you'd be like Amelia. FUCK, she's just annoying sometimes." said Valkyrie, tilting her head as she got into her work. "You're a good listener. You don't give a shit about all the crap I've done. Plus you're an android. I've always had an easier time dealing with bots than organics." - - - - - - - - -
"True. Got a way to take the picture?" she said, running a hand through her hair.
Bucky giggles at Valkyrie's opinion on Amelia. "I guess I'm just a very good hostess. I dealt with a lot if pirates in my past job. A few even tried to steal me or marry me. But I guess I just like to hear about other people, particularly if they're peculiar. Take, for instance, a pirate who moonlights as a tattoo artist; but doesn't mind working as a mercenary. Who also builds and controls drones, and who likes to hang out with androids over fellow meaties. Peculiar, but interesting and cool to me."
Frosty sat against the wall of his cell, thinking about what he just did. This was not normal of him. He wasn't a hateful or spiteful person, and he knew that well. But he couldn't help feeling enraged over what Maddox had told him and the others. He didn't know what compelled him to follow Moloch in his crime to destroy Maddox's cabin. But he felt like he really wanted to do that to get back at him for potentially spying on him. He just didn't understand why. Before Maddox's revelation, he felt like he was on the road to recovery, he felt as if he was going back to being normal. Moloch's presence was gradually bothering him less and less at that moment despite still being wary of him, but now he just helped him do his bidding. The realization of all this hit him straight between the eyes: Whoever he was in the past now began creeping into his subconsciousness. Taylor was right, he'd have to be aware of what he's doing and he'd have to fight it. For now, however, he needed to think of what she'd tell her when she asks him why he did what he did. Meanwhile, Moloch sat right in the center indian style and meditated. Being a psyker, he tried reaching out to Frosty's presence via telepathy, and spoke to him through this medium. "Mr. Frosty... considering I was the one who gave you the idea of ransacking Mr. Graves' personal quarters, perhaps I ought to be the one doing the talking when they come to question us..." Frosty felt horrid, and his spine shook. When Moloch spoke to him with telepathy, it felt so... wrong. Like the laws of reality were being violated in his ears. It didn't feel right. At all. "I will not demand you lie when they question you. But I do believe what we did was for the safety of the crew. Even the ransacking. A message needed to be made to Mr. Graves. Maddox needs to know he and his SSOID comrades are not welcome among us. You understand this, yes?..." Frosty shook his head and tried napping until it was time for questioning.
"My assistant has. Zach, take the picture and send it to me, would you?" Specter realized he was talking to him. "Oh, sure thing boss." He pulled out his holotablet and used it as a camera. "Say cheese, I guess." After taking the picture he send it. "Thank you, Zach. And thank you miss Caine for the meeting and the time. It's been great meeting you. Before I go however, I believe I owe someone else something. Now this is an awkward request, but a while ago I worked with your daughter, Taylor. Small galaxy, I know. She is a really good soldier and squad leader from what I saw. Problem is that I couldn't get to her in time to give her my contact information for future oportunities. If you wish you can pass along the contents of my card so she can reach me instead of me taking months to actually sit down and find her." He took out his card from his breastpocket and gave it to Miranda. "Again, thank you both for having me. It's been a pleasure." He turned around and left the office with his two underlings in tow. Once they were clear, Specter spoke up. "Ok, that must be the most awkward I've ever seen you. And you're a goddamn robot." "Planned to look like a starstruck fan. Get them to drop their guard." "Sure." Alvina said with a smirk. "First day on the job and already making fun of me? Specter waited 2 months before doing that. Step up your game, Specter, she already has larger balls than you. But enough about that. Once we're out of BCB space, I can breef you on your mission." "How bad is it?" "What do you know of The Transsentience Cult?"
"...Peculiar, but interesting and cool to me."
Valkyrie chuckled. "First time I've ever been called peculiar. I've been called a slew of other things, but not that." she said, continuing her work. "Well, the tattoo stuff I got into shortly after leaving Terra. First group I joined was full of tatt'd up pirates, so I asked for one." She then pointed to the outside of her right hand. "An iron cross. Simple, right? After he gave it to me, I asked him to teach me how to do it. And here I am years later." She swapped cartridges, and continued on the tattoo. "I learned how to build drones actually back on Terra. Was a thing we could learn to do at the orphanage I grew up in. Little robots and such. Build one, program it to do simple stuff...that's where I learned how to do the basic stuff. After I left Terra, I moved on to the bigger drones and proceeded from there. Also started working on an AI, which I've perfected now. Named it Adam, and I'm working on another, more complex AI named Eve now. Adam and Eve...you know, as a fuck you to Sol's religion shit." She paused for a brief moment, then looked over at the tablet to double check before continuing. "I also learned a few other things at the orphanage. I can play a violin, draw pretty well (as you could tell from my tattoo art)...I can write poetry too, but that's sissy shit." - - - - - - - - -
"Thank you, Zach. So he worked with Maddie? She raised an eyebrow. Wonder what kind of op she got involved in that had her working with the sugar skulls? She tucked the card into her pocket. "Back to waiting I guess." said Miranda, walking back over to the couch and plopping down. She grabbed her beer, and took another swig.
Bucky giggles again. "God, you'd probably have hated me when I first learned literature then. I think I still have a petabyte of some old rhymes I wrote in my first year. I finally got out of it when I caused a few customers to leave, but eh. You win some and you lose some. Honestly though I wouldn't have taken you for the poetic type. What did you used to write?" Bucky looks at Valkyrie curiously. Her glasses give her an odd educated appearance that clashes with her blatant curiosity.
"Honestly though I wouldn't have taken you for the poetic type. What did you used to write?"
Valk glances up at her, and notices her look. "Oh nooo, I didn't write any poetry. I just know how to do it, and can do it." she said, shaking her head and waving her hands.
Bucky chuckles and shakes her head. "Alright, alright. How's the tat going? Almost done?"
"Alright, alright. How's the tat going? Almost done?"
"Filling in the color now." she said, returning to her work. She swapped cartridges again and continued. A few minutes later, she sat back. "Done." she said, reaching over and taking her holotablet. She took a picture of the tattoo, then turned the holotablet around and showed Bucky. "Bam."
Bucky takes a good look at the tablet, then sits up to look down at the tattoo herself. She smiles when she sees it and gives Valkyrie a thumbs up. "Nice! It looks awesome, Valk!" She exclaims. "Whaddya got in store next?"
"Whaddya got in store next?"
Valkyrie shrugged. "Free reign, right? I might can come up with something to add onto your 'WORKHORSE' tat. Maybe something like a gear with a horse running inside it." she said, cleaning off the needle and changing cartridges again. She reached over and tapped a few times on her holotablet, music starting to play from it.

Valk tilted her head a little, thinking. "Yeah, I could do that, or something else if you'd like."
"I like the sound of it. I guess gears and cogs are a theme for me now, huh? Funny, I was made to be as human as possible, but it seems that I've fallen right in with machines." Bucky pulls off her shirt and lays on her stomach so Valkyrie can get at her shoulder. "How'd you get into engineering anyways? Most of the pirates I ever heard about or met were always swashbucklers with no time for troubleshooting their ship's plasma engines."
"How'd you get into engineering anyways? Most of the pirates I ever heard about or met were always swashbucklers with no time for troubleshooting their ship's plasma engines."
"Dad was a mechanic with the Hellions. He taught me while I was growing up, and I helped him take care of our freighter. Till the SDF showed up." she said, her tone shifting as she spoke of the SDF. She got to work on Bucky's shoulder. "When I got back into piracy after leaving Terra, I continued working on mechanical stuff when I wasn't shooting things, tattooing, or working on my drones."
"Cool. Well, that's just about all the small talk questions I can think about right now... Unless you have anything you wanna elaborate on. You wanna hear about me a little? I don't get to answer questions about anything other than engineering stuff often."
"Cool. Well, that's just about all the small talk questions I can think about right now... Unless you have anything you wanna elaborate on. You wanna hear about me a little? I don't get to answer questions about anything other than engineering stuff often."
"Sure, I guess. You mentioned you were a hostess? Where?" she asked, glancing up towards Bucky's head.
"A brothel in Proxima Centauri. Sorta-classy place that did "specialty services" for just about anyone or anything that could afford the entry fee. When they activated me, I developed in a way that kinda predisposed me for less, err, intimate work. I'm good at reading and understanding people, so I have a good way of putting them at ease and getting them into spending moods. So, I became a hostess. I made a 10% commission on everything I sold, or convinced people into. All of that went to my Voluntary Societal Integration fund. I did my due and stepped out. I was actually really surprised I didn't have as many Catchers as some of the other Synths. A lot of the girls got out of the "workforce" to find some guy or gal with an engagement ring waiting for them."
Maddox charged into the armory, grabbed his rifle and walked towards the brig he entered with uneasy steps and spotted Hariim who was met two bloodshot eyes. "Hariim!" Yelled Maddox as he entered the room. He started to laugh like a madman. "Listen, buddy, mind stepping out real quick?" A muscle next to his eye flinched as he chuckled. "I got business with that cowl-wearing piece of shit."
It had been quiet for a brief moment when Taylor went over to Markus' door. But suddenly he could be heard from the inside. "We're done talkin. It's fuckin pointless. Now if ya want to stick me in the brig you'll 'ave to come in an get me, cunt." His muffled voice could he heard, "An' 'ang onto yer feelin's cause it's gonna get fuckin 'airy." "Hard way it is." muttered Taylor, before looking back at Alex and Porter. She sent Hariim a message shortly afterwards.
Open Markus' door. - T. Caine
Hariim shakes his head at Maddox. "Talk to the captain before you talk to me. Leave the brig immediately, Maddox, or I will remove you." With a thought, Hariim opens Markus' door for Taylor, he never takes his eyes off of Maddox.
"Get ready, you two." said Taylor, as the door slid open. When it was fully open, she peered inside. What surprise did Markus have waiting for them?
In nothing but his underwear, Markus had covered himself in grease and charged towards the door "C'mon then, ya slags!" he yelled as he threw a running hard right towards Taylor.
Taylor barely had time to react, witnessing Markus charge her in his underwear and greased up. She attempted to deflect the blow as it arrived, preparing to clean Markus' clock with an uppercut if she was able to knock it away. ((PVP HERE WE GO)) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Ah, so did you do anything after you left? Or did you join up with the TBC immediately afterwards?" asked Valkyrie, as she continued work on the tattoo around Bucky's WORKHORSE tat.
Alex had a feeling that Markus wouldn't go quietly, but he didn't expect the Turkish oil wrestler method of escape. Markus was gonna be slippery, so grapling and holds were out of the question. So he had to hit him into submission. While he was distracted with Taylor, Alex tried to flank Markus on the right and kick him at the back of the knee.

Maddox leans in towards Hariim. "You don't need to do anything gearhead, just step aside." He nodded towards the cells. "Do you know what we do to with burglars on Novithus? We shoot them."
