Taylor motioned for him to go ahead. "One of the others can point out an empty room for you." she said, before turning to face the Argos agent near them.
Maddox stepped aside, clearing the path ahead for Moloch. He looked at Frosty and could feel his gut twist ninety degrees. Something really bad had just been welcomed aboard. With nothing more to say Maddox returned to the ship and began to clean up the armory. He placed the lined up bodies of the DV mercs in one corner while cleaning up all the blood, empty shell casings and spent energy batteries.
Alex didn't like the look of Frosty. He looked like a far cry from the last time he saw him. "You mind letting me carry him in?" he said to the Qud holding up Frosty. Alex didn't wait for an answer and started to carry Frosty back to the Muramasa. Back where his quarters were.
Moloch motioned to the shuttle. Several other Quds members brought out strongboxes belonging both to Moloch and Frosty, and hurried behind him as he went inside the ship. Meanwhile, Frosty motioned for someone, anyone, to help him. The Quds member supporting him tried his best, but Frosty could barely hold up on his own. Alex came to help him, but he started to feel sick. His one opportunity to forget Karbala and all the madness on it has been destroyed. The Quds member turned to the Argos personnel behind him. "Oh, I almost have forgotten! Our other shuttle is filled with repairmen and all sorts of tools! Just give us the word and we will begin repairs."
Yuga was about to enter the Muramasa when she heard the commotion in the gathering. Frosty was looking like he'd faint any second and it seemed llike Taylor had given Moloch the green light. She had stopped besides Jag and looked up at him, flicking open her compass to activate the transmitter, "I'd recommend you assist your returned crew mate, as it would seem he is not well." She looked towards Moloch and then back to Jag "I'd also recommend you take precautions regarding your newest addition, but he will soon no longer be of my concern." She closed the compass and headed up the ramp and to her room.
Haz left a deep breath from under his mask, straightening his posture out for his this individual. "Well, we already a team of engineers prepared to begin their work to repairing the Muramasa but I'm sure they will be more then happy to have your team assist them, Mr....?" Haz said while gesturing with his hand. --- Jag slowly broke it's glaze on heavily armored individual as it laid it's sight onto Alex carrying Frosty onboard the ramp. The Sanghvi quickly changed it's attention towards the two, swiftly tailing behind them after they pasted it. It's pace was slow and controlled, moving about with a great focus on sheath.
Frosty tried his best to make something that sounded like a voice come through his mouth. "A-Alex... take me to Yuga's c-c-cabin... We... we need to t-talk!" [editline]3rd November 2016[/editline] The Quds member shook Haz's hand quite firmly and vigorously. "Mr. Amon! I'll tell them to come out now."
János did as he was told, sighing when possible interrogations were squashed, albeit with one captured. He checked the Heavy Vulture for any suicide devices, before leaving the armory to bring them to the Brig, as well as head to engineering. He began helping the folks there get to the training room, using the emergency portable oxygen tanks on those that need them. Once he noticed people were heading to the bridge, he joined in as well.... He stood at the back, looking at Frosty's expression. The fact that not only was his amnesia not gone, but that his time gone seemed to have gone worse than he expected (worse than terrible, considering what he knew)... this wasn't going to end well for him, especially now that Yuga was awake and that Moloch was apparently joining the crew. Seeing Frosty's expression change to a sickened look, he quickly approached him to help.
A-Alex... take me to Yuga's c-c-cabin... We... we need to t-talk!
Alex was surprised by this. First words Frosty even gets out of his mouth and he wants to meet with Yuga? "If that's what you want." He carried him move towards Yuga's cabin. He knew that straight up opening the door unanonced would probably lead to something bad, so he opted to knocking on the door first.
Yuga was sitting on her bed, her pillow stacked against the wall, and reading Intergalactica while being enveloped in a vapor cloud. "Come in" she replied to the knock on her door without taking her eyes of the news.
János followed behind Alex and Frosty, as the former brought the latter to Yuga's room. Now this was not gonna end well.
Alex entered. Frosty leaned on his shoulder. "Sorry to interupt, but Frosty wanted to talk with you about something."
Yuga put the compass aside and looked up to Alex and then to Frosty, "Is there something you wish to divulge to me in private, Mr Forsty?" she said with her monotone voice.
Moloch and his minions were busy unpacking his things in the cabin that was set aside for him. As he did so, he changed out of the Quds uniform he was given and back into his sorcerer's outfit. His cover was blown and he had to explain himself before the crew, so there was no need to dress like a bullet deflector. "[Master Moloch, I understand you wish to watch over Mr. Frosty, but do come back in one piece. We need you just as much as we need him.]" "[You need not worry about me. Once Frosty has provided us with Chemosh, I will return to Karbala no later.]" "[And if you were to perish?]" Moloch had a foul smile underneath his hood. "[Then, we go with our little contingency plan.]" The Quds member smiled back before he got back to helping Moloch with his belongings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frosty tried to stand straight and walked in.
"Is there something you wish to divulge to me in private, Mr Frosty?"
"Y-Yes... Something very important."
Yuga righted herself to sit on the edge of the bed, "I suppose I could spare you some time." She gestured with her arm towards the chair at her now empty desk. She looked up towards Janos who stood behind Alex and then to the latter, "Mr Koronv, would you please escort our... meddeling pacifist out of my quarters. His talents are neither requested nor needed" she said with a frown and shot a glance towards Janos.
Frosty sat down in the seat, trying to get himself comfortable. "Captain... I know it's rather shocking to see me live and breathe again, but I feel like I must ask this first. What happened? Just how did that man get my body?"
"Medling pacifist? What?" He turned around to notice János behind him. How the hell did he sneak up behhind him? "The fuck did you come from? Ok, out. We're leaving them to talk."
János looked at Yuga with a saddened look, before hearing what Frosty asked. "I feel as though I should be the one to answer that," he said before Alex told him to leave. "But... alright," he sighed, as he obliged to Alex.
Yuga squinted gloatingly as Janos made his plea and then turned to Frosty as Alex and Janos left. "We had him come here to sign a contract so that we could capture him and interrogate him. I suspected that the strange techniques he employed to resurrect you was not ordinary." Yuga slowly got up and slowly limped over to the window of her quarters and watched the repairs go underway. "We had evidence that he was using some sort of malicious powers, and such folks ought not be trusted or compromised with. Unfortunately for you, our dear friend Mr.Celofan had become great friends with Moloch during their trip back to our ship from the location where your corpse was found. Blinded by remarkable naivety, like most of this crew, he convinced your comrades to ignore my orders of capturing and to trust the words of a fool and a heretic and thusly you were taken. Later my actions to ensure that our employees were not let off so trustingly were deemed selfish and I was effectively mutineered out of my position as Captain." She turned around and looked at Frosty with her tired eyes, "Whatever help you seek to get from me I can no longer offer you, and I doubt Captain Caine will be off much assistance either."
Frosty couldn't believe it. Someone who looks like the incarnation of evil crawls onboard the ship and asks for his body without providing much explanation or details about himself, and the crew just hands his body over? And they didn't even fight for him. Frosty lowered his head into his hands. "This... That's just..." Frosty felt betrayed. "And not one of them lifted a finger to do anything? I was still alive! I wasn't dead! Abraxas or someone else could have just healed me and I would have been just fine!... Yuga, I know you are no longer captain of this vessel, but I still consider you the true captain here. That's just unbelievable, that they would hand me over to someone who looks like they crawled out of the bowels of hell... Was there anything else that happened after... that?"
Haz begin discussing with Amon about the ship's structure and precautions needed to be taken along with working with Argos own staff members, simply trivial things. Meanwhile, Checkered and her follow operatives walked up towards Taylor. "Greetings Captain Caine," Checkered said while extending her hand toward her, "I'm Checkered, your primarily representative from Argos."
Yuga sat herself down on the egde of the bed again, "A plethora of events occurred in your absence, but nothing noteworthy in regards to you. If you really wish to know you should speak to you acting captain or one of her henchmen." she said as she made herself comfortable in the bed once again and picked up the compass. She looked at Frosty, "After all, I suspect you have a lot to discuss with your fellow crew mates." she concluded.
"Greetings Captain Caine," Checkered said while extending her hand toward her, "I'm Checkered, your primarily representative from Argos."
"Nice to meet you. Thanks for the save back there." said Taylor, reaching out and shaking Checkered's hand. She had dealt with a few corporate types before on earlier jobs. The code names were always weird to her, though SDF did the same thing really. She released her hand after a moment, then looked around at the rest of the people in the hangar, as well as the hangar itself.
"I do...I really do." Frosty got up from the seat, but before he left he turned back to Yuga. "Oh and, captain, there's something I feel like I need to give you." He reached into one of his flightsuit pockets and pulled out a credit tab. "It's the paycheck I received for, well, being useless during the mission. I know, I know... If I didn't disobey orders and would've landed, I wouldn't have crashed, and then Moloch would not have been so generously given my body. But, I... feel like I do not deserve any kind of payment for what I did. I failed my mission, and I failed you, captain... I don't think I have earned this... I'm sorry, but I need to think. Farewell, captain." Frosty placed it on the desk as he made his way out. Though he did feel less sickly after what Yuga told him, that sickly feeling turned to anger. The crew betrayed him all because Moloch put on a smile and presented himself with manners. Is this what it really takes to be trusted these days? He thought the crew liked him, and trusted him. Clearly they didn't if they allowed someone like Moloch to turn them into fools for his bidding. He had to clear his head. He went into his cabin, and hopped straight into his bed.
János was in the hallway, wondering what those two were talking about, when he saw Frosty leave Yuga's room. Before he could speak up and attempt to talk to him about what happened, he watched as Frosty just passed him by, looking visibly angry. Whatever it was that she told him, it had angered the poor guy. He couldn't state his case at this time, he would have to wait. He considered sending him a message on his communicator, but then he remembered that it's been broken since earlier. He went to his room and sent a message from the computer in it.
I know you're angry right now, at me especially, if I had to guess. But, when you get the chance, come to my room and I'll explain myself. - János
Jason was a bit skeptical with the crew from the other ship's intentions, but soon fell out of favor as to know who Frosty was. after being fixed up by the medical crew. Jason decided to walk out the ship for awhile. while doing so, Jason saw Taylor talking to an Argos rep. Jason maintained his distance when he can hear them talk.
Everything was decorated and placed where Moloch wanted it to be. His setar was on a stand next to his desk which had his holy book opened on a bookmarked page on it. His hookah was next to his bed along with his radio which was currently playing his favorite music. The room began to smell of incense as he unfurled a persian rug on the floor. He was basically set. Still, he may as well introduce himself to his new coworkers as distrustful of him as they may be, as well as explore the ship and get acquainted with his surroundings. He exited his cabin to do just that. ((Say, should I post his character sheet now that he's technically part of the crew? ))
Jag continued to quietly stalk Frosty as he went to Yuga then to his own private quarters soon after in what it assumed to be a fit of anger. Meanwhile, Jag made sure to keep itself out of sight from anyone nearby. Moving softly and swiftly among the meter floor of the Muramasa, keeping a close watch on the poor Frosty. It turned it's sight from one side of the corridor slowly to the other, standing right outside of Frosty cabin. Jag took a deep breath from under it's neck before it quietly approached the room's entrance. Using it's arm to gently knock onto the steel door. "Pilot Frosty, I wish to conserve with you in private. As I believe I can be service to you in regards to your emotions." Jag said softly through it's implant, just loud enough for Frosty to hear it from within is room. --- "It's good to see that you and your crew are safe at least Captain Caine." Checker said from under her mask, painted in black and white while in a checkered pattern. Her sole identifying feature from the usual Argos field uniform.
Frosty turned his head to face Jag, still with an angry look on his face.
Jag slowly peeked it's head to look into the darkly lint room, it's head meting with Frosty furious stare. "May I please enter your personal quarters, Pilot Frosty?" Jag asked kindly towards Frosty.
