Yeah I'm fixing it.
would restarting coc be a better idea? i'd just cut down massively on the writing and focus on pushing out turns i'd probably also slightly change the setting and game map so that a few species survived the quaternary extinction event
Just do this game, jeez.
k
k
I wouldnt mind a restart
this one goes slowly and shit plus people seem more keen on warring and expanding than politics
God can we stop restarting everything or starting new stuff when we can hardly keep current ones on a schedule.
eh idk its like shit, idk what to do
eh idk its like shit, idk what to do
If that's the case then you should just kill this one. Maybe a futuristic rp was a bad idea? Generally i've noticed the following things in successful rps (ones that lasted longer than 5 turns). -minimum amount of background shit -sandboxy -commands are generally short -a lot of places to expand into Of course, churning out turns eats up time. However, removing quality would detract from the appeal. Perhaps a two turn system whereby I release the "turn" which consists of all the commands, and then supplementary updates which flesh out the story or something. The advantage would mean I could work on fleshing out the previous turn while people are still preparing for the second. might work might not work but atm i don't feel like this current rp is really working
Id say go with that, I quite like sandbox rps
With sandbox, do you mean that we'll create our own nation/stuff?
With sandbox, do you mean that we'll create our own nation/stuff?
More or less. I also won't create NPC nations, unless they come about as the creation of a player (for instance a puppet state or civil war or breakaway country). I'll probably make the whole history player driven so I don't have to rely on actual history to help.

I just want to see an RP I join actually go past turn 5. Though with everything dying I might consider retrying to make a fantasy RP again.

i'm ready whenever you guys are
Holy shit we've only had ONE. TURN. Do THIS game. Stop going back and forth between other games. CoC died, then it came back, then it died again. No one can get into it because it's too far advanced. [editline]3rd June 2014[/editline] The only thing I'd ever support abandoning this game for you making would be Galaxy at War, because Seed DEFINITELY let a LOT of people down by quitting GMing that after one damn turn.

nvm
Also can we stop saying "oh personal life came up" or "no one sent their turn in." It's almost always bs, if you're lazy or don't want to do it, that's completely fine, but don't pretend like we believe you.
Why the Hell do you care, your not even playing
You realize that's my alt right? Like, I specifically replied to something that was directed at me (Telepethi) [editline]4th June 2014[/editline] Actually it was YOU I replied to.
ah, Why did you buy gold for your alt then?
I didn't. My alt got gold back when it was given out to anyone that had been on the forum more than 2 years.
bamboozled
Alright here's the deal, I'm going to begin running this entirely on my own. I began writing and reworking things this morning. It'll require your patience however, the amount of work that goes into these turns for this game in particular is astounding due to the immense amount of lore as well as the studying I have to do for these near-future technologies.
take your time man, We've all got patience and those without can shove off :)
