Well , atm all he told us about gameplay and content is literally CoD. A thing you could do tho is trying to make it similar to CoD Zombies but Free!
I guess that would be a good start for a first game , cuz actually the idea of CoD Zombies treyarch had was fantastic but it could have been way better!
Id try a Free CoD zombie tho with new storyline , better graphics (If possible offcourse , but that engine is a beast for that So lets hope your models and textures will not be CoD 1 style , Co-OP? I dont know if thats possible for you but without Co-op This wont work at all , more weapons , More maps and such stuff. I dont think at all that one single person is able to do all this but if you are able to do it take you time developing!

Eh, where else are you supposed to get a moon graphic. I'd get mine from NASA, and smack it on a sphere. Though making your own with layers n junk is cool, and come to consider, not very hard. Maybe mangle a couple rust textures or something.

Maybe he should try using the cod5 modding tools? I've played some awesome zombie maps/sp/mp gamemodes that people have made. They have custom maps/models/sounds/etc etc... you can basically make everything you need. Then, just release the thing as a mod pack. I think he would have better luck this way.

I'll try and make this as clear and non cynical as I can but I got 5 minutes to write this.
Mango, you need to seriously learn a skillset, something that can be used in the actual creation of the game, whether it is programming or some form of 3D modelling. You also need to chill on the attitude and you need to learn that people are not always going to be nice about what you have to say, even if generally well received people will still say that you are retarded, faggot, ect. If and when you actually learn a skillset and come up with a more original idea then maybe facepunch or a portion of it, will take you seriously.

That is just a render, it does look better in-game. It also is nowhere near done, it's like 10% complete that level.
The tiling of the wooden planks will not be like that. They will be varied. This is also not the engine I am using, I imported this into another program just for testing and stuff. When this portion of the map is complete it will be put into Unreal. :)

Why make models when the game is pre-pre-alpha?
you don't even have a concept yet. The first step in making a video game is writing how the game works and the rules of the game, where the game takes place, organizing WHAT you will be making
then you have to lay it all out in an easily understood way of what steps you'll take. Make TEST models to make sure the scripts work. (Like attaching silencers, etc). This way you can actually get the game itself completed and afterwards make the game look like a game. Doing this you can do far more, such as severed heads of zombies still moving, etc.
like the models look good but taking making a game slow is better, as you don't even yet know what it'll be.
Ah yes, kind sir. I do have a concept. I have drawn out layouts of maps, written what section leads to where, what will be in that area etc.
I am also writing what features will be included in this game that differentiate this from Call of Duty Zombies.
I forgot to mention, my friend is doing the pre-alpha modelling stuff.
I am just modelling, sculpting and texturing stuff for the final version of the game. :)
