SUPER QUICK GUIDE TO A NEWCOMER OF 2B2T.NET
1: Don't trust anyone, unless you completely know them from a previous game or possibly a long-time member of Facepunch. Even then, don't fully trust them. They could just take everything and destroy the base.
2: Never ever ever say any coordinates in the chat or on the thread, even if you don't know what they are for. It could be a facepunch base, or just some ruins. Take no chances.
3: Building anything within 5000 blocks of spawn and expecting it to survive is idiotic. Anything above-ground within 10,000 blocks of spawn is likely to be found in a matter of weeks. Make anything below ground, and mask it with lava or something that would cover it to an X-rayer.
4: Bases will be destroyed in a matter of weeks. Never keep all the valuables in bases.

I have an outpost only 1500 away from spawn. It had been long abandoned and I made no real changes to it, so I think I should be safe for a little bit.
Also, facepunchers, I have found a large destroyed tower that may be good for housing around the middle levels if you aren't too obvious about it.

Although it is a little lonely all by myself.
And then the fact it is underwater and then underground won't help anyone get there.

Haha, Mosh raged when he died 2000 blocks away from Outpost Raptor II and he didn't use beds.
I was panicking and ended up surrounding my base in lava earlier than I had planned.
