-5000, -5000 has a cool outpost with some supplies. You'll probably find some iron and a pickaxe or two there.
I like leaving treasure catches in random spots.

If your traveling far, try to make little stops along the way that you can sleep in to set your spawn.

Place a bed and sleep in it at night(get in for a couple of seconds), just dont remove it.
I have a base that can hold 6 or so people and it's easily expandable

Remember, take pictures and have details of all these bases! I'm not able to get around to all of them, and we want to have a really cool history of all the forts and such! It would also be nice to state the day they were founded and the day they fell so I could make a neat timeline infographic.

Well someone finally found the base me, Kwigg and (I think) his brother inhabit. They missed all the good loot, they didn't even venture into the mines from what I see, let alone the main mining residence. They just raided Skylord instead (seriously? oh well, they had the pleasantry to name it Gaylord during the raid).
First time I've ever seen that place raided, it's like 8k blocks from spawn and is pretty fucking visible.

Oh I found the Skylord. I did loot it but I didn't leave any notes, except my name and that I admired the work.
So they guy who renamed it didn't get anything probably.
When me and shnitzelkiller were making our way to find an area to base, we found someones base that was under a desert. Had a big area to farm wheat, and sugercane. He also had tons of dogs. more than 30. I left a sign saying we took some seeds and that his base was cool.

Ahh, yeah Skylord didn't seem to hold too much of value, seeing as the mob grinder keeps grinding the fucking items now. Though someone did steal the ladders to get up there :v:
