Theres dungeons deep server, its only rule is no cheating and theres an active admin who stops people from xray hacking and built a starting town so there would be no griefing at spawn and builds cool stuff people can explore like temples.

Journey on foot. ShnitzelKiller and I spent several hours walking to the base.
And I live in the base you most likely have the coordinates to, so yes, they're still good.
I call it Raptor Outpost, myself.
I like working in a group, but it's just too dangerous. That's why I'm just going to wander out to whoever knows, and start my private base. Hopefully safe for a decent time...

Use scare tactics, ambush people, mess with people's houses before you kill them. Let them spot you off in the distance, then run away into the fog layer or behind some trees.
Nothing will ever be as scary as the time two diamond clad raiders ambushed me in the middle of nowhere. I was in a valley type thing, and they both jump down firing arrows at me. I only managed to escape because I jumped off of a cliff, dig inside the wall and quickly replaced it with dirt. I could hear them outside, running around looking for me. Scariest moment in Minecraft I have ever had, my heart was beating out of my chest.
