Sort of going to suck that all the new terrain stuff (more than wild grass) is going to be rather far out. Kind of makes me wish that we could have a new world for the new terrain/features but that's not going to happen obviously.

Oh hai! That first one was directed at Animefan9, We both have been arguing with each other using signs. I also left signs and other loot at a bunch of old houses that I made that led up to our ... old base. On a side note I'm sure you would love to hear about the progress my groups been making, after plenty of hours of mining We've managed to obtain One diamond and burn Three.

Have you ever seen the McDungeon mod? It uses a python script to edit the world file. This mod just puts in Dungeons, but it'd be cool if Notch used something like this to add 1.8 stuff to older worlds.

The signs in this server really remind me of the wall writing in Left 4 Dead saferooms.

Just rolled some people at around x:-10000 z:~370. Had a few hidden chests with some diamond (Around 20 total, my group has around 10 stacks anyway, so not a huge find). Had a big statue above ground over it aswell, sortof looked like a rocket. Then I died while moving my spawn. :(
Me and my friend found a huge base after coming out of nether and found some loot. After a while the owner spawned and we killed him in panic :v:
He dropped some damn good loot.

On another topic, do any of you guys know anything about "the scary people"? It's a group that destroyed the camp I was staying at, but I have no idea who they are. I want to get some leads so I can track them down, they sound interesting.
