Its because everyone is so paranoid (you should be) that they spread out to extremely ludicrous coordinates and end up playing single player. I'll help, but too worried of being back stabbed.
So I got stuck above bedrock in the nether (129y) and I'm carrying a ton of important shit. :( I've been traveling for 5000 blocks for a formation glitch and so far nothing. This sucks, and I REALLY don't want to suicide and lose all this shit.

This place was so huge so I had to use xray to get a picture of it. It had rows upon rows of Clay, Gold, Iron, and Lapis blocks, along with pistons and wood. DSG of course took all the diamond blocks :v:

Meh... Mushroom farms are nearly worthless when you can just make a quick portal to the nether. I've seen places there where the mushrooms literally go as far as the eye can see, I'm not exaggerating.

You could set XRAY to show bedrock only, then fog on far and you will be able to see any hole.

Holy shit... I just searched up the servers broadband provider. It sells 100mbps connection for 25$ a month. I WISH I LIVED IN SWEDEN. I have 1.5mbps and I pay 80$ a month for it.
Teh Kitteh. If you really don't have any ideas, look up houses in google and try to remake them, works like a charm. Try to keep some form of symmetry (only for certain areas, not the whole thing unless that's what you're really going for) going and try to get a pattern, but variation of blocks.
What I would give to have one of those diamond blocks...
