who are the marauders? they attacked the village i made when it was already in ruins and blew up the house i quickly stitched up back apart as a temporary holdout before i buried myself deep underground somewhere else. it ain't good to steal other people's work, kids.

Ah sorry haha. If I'd known that it was Facepunchers I would've left it alone (or at least not devastate it like I did) You really should've had something like a sign or something saying it's Facepunch.
And I have to give you props too. I liked the automated reed farm and the big quarries you guys had. Also the architecture wasn't too bad either. The hedge walls and swimming pool were nice too.

I found a sign with coords leading to El Putos Outpost Alpha. Anyone know what it is? Under the sign was a chest with a diamond chest, some wood, some coal, and 10 iron bars. I don't think it actually led to a base, and that it's actually a sign that you're getting close to a base.

I'm 'SaladBar' =P Personally, I build things on the surface TO be destroyed, would've liked to see things get a bit further though. We had plans for a suspension bridge. ;P
Sadly, I don't think my partner in Mining will have much incentive to stick around 2b2t after this. =\ T'was him that made everything all purdy-like, I'm only good at monotonous grunt work.
Edit: Our previous domicile was the floating castle at 300, 3000.

If you want, I could go back and leave a little care package with stuff to help you guys get started back up again.
Like some food, diamonds, iron, wood, etc. Also I left the big chest of pork that was on some balcony or something intact.
Suppose that depends if my friend has the will to walk for over and hour from Spawn to get back there.

They nuked my castle and stole most of my valuables. I remember noticing signs all over the ruins saying "LONG LIVE MARAUDERS". I don't think they have x-ray because they didnt find my diamond chest that was behind 1 layer of cobble (yes im stupid).
most xrays dont show chest if there behind walls, unless u use xray texture pack or highligthers

Coords are in one of the screens, whatever is left is free game now.
Well, lost my home and go nomad again. We all go to begin fixing spawn up. I make a nice pathway that makes it easy to get out of spawn, then I get killed by one of the helpers. I had 30 Diamond Blocks, full weapons/tools and armor. He plays it safe and says "I will give it back" [img]http://sae.tweek.us/static/images/emoticons/emot-airquote.gif[/img]. I wait for him, then once he gets close he kills me again and says " YOU WERE GONNA ATTACK ME " (He has full diamond and I have a square fist). He leaves the server.
I eventually get a diamond sword and diamond boots, and a speedhacker comes up and kills me. Then he runs back to spawn and kills me 20 times repeatedly.
I find full armor in the furnaces near spawn ([img]http://sae.tweek.us/static/images/emoticons/emot-wtc.gif[/img]) and the hacker comes and runs up and slashes me again and takes it.
I am not having fun anymore. [img]http://sae.tweek.us/static/images/emoticons/emot-saddowns.gif[/img]

This server is pretty much just "build something really cool and wait until it gets destroyed" sort of thing. People build really cool houses and such, and just wait for someone to come along and demolish it. What's the fun in that?

I enjoy building really awesome things, then once they're done return after awhile to see how its 'aged'.
For example: My castle at 300x, 3000z was a magnificent sight. Tons of work went into it, though it was a bit small as far as castles go. I abandoned the place soon after completing it. When I returned, the place was in ruins with signs that people had settled at/near there... I.E. a GIANT castle surrounded by a lava wall. Even our underground 'proper' shelter had signs that it was being used. I dunno, I get some sense of satisfaction in knowing that people will come a crossed these ruins and admire what it could've been in their prime, and that it will essentially last forever, as most griefers won't bother to destroy every trace of a structure, but leave it in shambles.
That's why I enjoy 2b2t. Yeah, it kinda sucked that our settlement that Polly destroyed wasn't anywhere near finished. It, at the least, remains as a ruin that will be discovered months from now by someone else.
