I knew that the only failpoint would be the nether, there's no way anyone would walk 80,000 blocks legit. I'm actually pretty amazed you found the gate under the nether, good job. Huge fucking dump incoming.

It's funny, I was having a debate on whether I should stay build with my friends or go bowling with some other friends, and I chose bowling. If I had chosen to stay, chances are we probably could have fought off the attack and saved the base. My only regret was that we didn't have enough time. I'm not dissapointed about the resources, 90% of them were looted. I'm not dissapointed about what was destroyed, because I had fun building it with my friends. I am dissapointed that we didn't get to build more. The whole point of being this far out is that we could stay completely untouched. If we had done a better job hiding the nether gate, we wouldn't have been discovered for months. And what would that person have discovered? huge village, a lighthouse with a working rotating light, giant castle on the water, giant underground areas turned into gamerooms, full of things like chess, checkers, connect4, who knows, the list goes on. People always say, why do you build so far away? It's practically like playing singleplayer. And it is, except here I can build this all with 5 good friends. The point of the project was that when we would have been eventually discovered, it would have been an incredible untouched utopia with tons of features that visitors could appreciate. Well, that dream was never completed, we were stopped short at a small castle, hardly a village (2 buildings) and a ghetto lighthouse that didn't even rotate. Oh well. Such is the nature of 2b2t. :(

True, but we could have easily packed up and left. That base was only about 2 days worth of work. Plus we were 10k blocks out in the nether, so it would have taken them, and anyone else trying to follow us, a ridiculously long time to catch up, we could have been looooong gone.

I was traveling across the land when I found the facepunch fort ''Fort Ixmucane''. It was only 3000 blocks from the spawn so needless to say it was old and in an horrid state.

I can't seem to get the hang of this server. I log in, run in a direction for a while then get bored and log out. I should probably find somebody to play with.

So there's a no-flymod mod on this server now? Phago was flying not 1 hour ago.. the fuck.

Alright, I guess it's time to release some information. I briefly mentioned I'd do it in the OP, but never got around to do it. I was notorious with the older people on the server and that's kinda why I didn't want to release the information because I haven't had the experiences with you guys. Keep in mind that all of this is [I]before[/I] the server was down for weeks. This means that any material gathered were legitimately obtained. All images are thumbed due to size, click to enlarge. What you're about to see is documentation of about half of the bases I've visited. Since, at the beginning, I wasn't very good at logging destinations, there's quite a bit missing. Some of it will be covered by part of the the internal Ownzone document of destinations I've decided to leak, as well. Many of the places didn't contain names or a name, so I've just come up with some random name based on what the place looked like.
