I see Fort Ixmucane has been getting attention lately. That's the griefed fort surrounded by lava. It was built by me. I was planning on spreading the grass up there so I could make an animal farm. It got griefed rather quickly and I had to move on to find Watch Post Onahole(Damn you, Bean.) and my current base, Laughing Lucifer's Locker.
Haven't been on for a while. I wonder if anyone has yet to stumble upon LLL.

X-ray?
I'm about 4K blocks out and came across a nice fortress wall built across a valley and tunnels into the side of the mountain. Setting up camp for the night and will continue my Journey to the 100K and beyond. I'll try to do about 5-10K a day.

You don't need to have a base, you could always just live in ruins and such around spawn. Being a nomad is the ideal way to play this.

By the way, the coordinates are special. I never got a chance to write it on a sign outside the nethergate however. The Real-World Coords seem random, but the nether coordinates are z= -9876, x=-5432 y=10

I used xray hacking to find some other bases that were near the tunnel. I also saw the portal under the lava, but that was only because the lava hadnt loaded yet. I would have found it without xray, anyway.
Oh and that lighthouse has a huge hole on the other side.
