So why did you post the coordinates of our Nether position?
i posted coords of my outpost that is 5000 blocks from spawn. and acid posted them almost instantly.
The snitch is in our steam chat its either The7DeadlySyns (me), Assassin_Raptor, Mariodude, PopBob, or Shnitzel... any ideas on how we could figure it out?
So how did he figure out the Nether coordinates?

I'm going to start a base in the morning. As a restriction, only users with EITHER 1000 posts or 1 year on Facepunch will get in. No grudges, I just need to be safe. It will be at least 5k blocks from spawn, so be ready to walk.

Those were the last people i thought it would but the guy posted coordinates that we posted in the steam chat, meaning it had to be one of those named above. I least suspected them but it has to be them..

I didn't plant TNT (didn't even have a duper at the time), they just weren't far so I decided to check it out and luke/pop started blowing the place to hell so I took the wool and some other bits and bobs.
Trying to relight the portal in the nether with a ghast fireball.
It's very hard and intense, but it's my only shot
Edit: Oh fuck that failed. I got it to relight, then the ghast decided to extinguish it.
Now I only have 1 1/2 hearts left.
Oh, man... Here's the video that Chez recorded of CC base. I'm pretty sure you see PimpMastaFlex attack and slaughter me, then mweorz and chez fight him off, then chez shows the coords and it is bombed.

On the one hand I don't care that he's a dick and find it pretty funny.

Is there really a point of joining this server, or is there too much griefing/hacking going on, right now, for it to be enjoyable?
Wow, after I got killed by a group of ghasts, I respawned in Raptor to find my room stripped of everything except my bed.

How do beds work in MP? do they change your spawn area even if you aren't able to sleep in them?

You get in them at night and it sets your spawn point there.

Too much griefing
So, back at base, almost ready for visitors.
There's not really much griefing if you hide out yourself or with a few very trustworthy friends.
This is like the start of 2b2t all over again. You don't stay 2k from spawn - 10k at the very least. Get a few friends and start a base deep underground. Hide it with lava. You can survive like that. Don't hand out coordinates to whoever says they are from facepunch - only the ones that are trustworthy.
I feel like a mweorz, starting with a bunch of people running around from base to base every day while I sit in a veritable castle of wealth and watch the communities crash and crash again.

Most xray clients can't see through lava. It can make for a good disguise of a small base.

Seriously? Why is Popbob in the steam chat? Yesterday he planted TNT in the base and destroyed it. Hell, the video from the last page was recorded as I found him doing it, hence the "POP IS THE TRAITOR!"
If you guys are going to make bases, at least pay attention to what's happening in the community. Apparently he has you all tricked into believing that he did nothing, even though he admits it in the video from the page before this.
