I think once 1.8 is out the map should be restarted with a higher height limit as well.
It's back up. From here on, it will run the old world but with no saved players, until it breaks so hard it won't be recoverable.

Also the only reason you guys want a new map is because you're losing your wealth and others don't.
I had no wealth to lose, I want a restart because of the size and all the people who ARE just decked out.

No, not really. The server is also fairly old, and probably takes up alot of space. And I never attempted to get wealth when I play on this server. I just build a stone sword and walk around.

The smarter people with diamonds live waaay the fuck out from spawn, and it will take them a while to return home. Best take advantage of this while you can.
Someone tried to raid my tower that I recently suited up. He killed me, then ran downstairs, but didn't destroy my bed. I then promptly murdered the hell out of him and hid my bed.

Personally I've yet to try to join this server because I know I'd get slaughtered multiple times in spawn. If it got reset for 1.8 or for whatever reason I might join to see how long spawn could remain intact.
The player reset has killed my motivation to play

Would be nice to have a map reset, there's still thousands of duped diamond and the like floating around in the world, waiting to be found. A full restart would mean everyone starts fresh and there won't be any duped items in the world.
