i was bored and decided plant trees randomly at spawn

So I decide to leave my base for a while and explore, try to find some other bases. I personally don't raid bases unless I have to, the most I take is one thing and even if I do, I repay them by giving them a diamond or something of equal value back. Anyway, I found this base!

It was surrounded by cacti and had a bunker made of obsidian, I couldnt find the entrance so I just dug down to where there was stone instead of obsidian. Once I entered, I saw what I think was the name of the base (Kopalnia) and on the sign, people who lived there.

They also had a very interesting way of finding caves. I don't quite know what the numbers on the signs are for (maybe quick reference?).

They also had a Cacti farm with pistons and water that would easily cut the cacti and then flow down the water and be captured by the player. Same thing for a reed farm they had.
After examining the farm systems and the rest of the base I knew it was time to go and continue on in my adventure of seeing other great bases. Here is view of the bunker from the inside.

Well balls. I'm about 1000 blocks from home and I came across a skeleton dungeon, decided to try to raid it.
It had 7 damn skeletons in it, I got down to 1.5 hearts (after eating 2 bowls of soup) and I disconnected.
I want to reconnect, but at the same time I DON'T want to fearing that the skeletons will still be there. :ohdear:

According to the wiki, mobs instantly vanish if they're 132 blocks away from a player. So if you're the only one around, they should all vanish as soon as you disconnect.
I suggest you run out as soon as you join, dig underneath the spawner, break it apart, kill the Skeletons, then raid the chests.

The dungeon was under water, under ice. I put a torch up to melt the ice but I don't think I can swim away in time. If only I had more mushroom soup. (I have tons of mushrooms but only two bowls, I tossed the other 2 out to make room for loot)

Reconnected. Either I died before I logged out or a skeleton killed me immediately upon re-logging. So once again, I've lost all my loot and I have to walk all the way back home. FML
