So OP's started to give me stuff on DSGs server and we made this

It was nothing but a small outpost really, but I did store (almost) everything I had in there. Roughly 6 stacks of coal, a bunch of saddles, buckets, a few stacks of iron and redstone, 3 stacks of saplings and some gold and diamond ingots. Luckily though, the looter(s) missed the 43 iron that was still left in my furnace. :v:

Make sure when make a new map on 1.8 you improve your software or w.e the fuck caused the corruption so it doesn't happen. Possibly weekly backups too (dont complain about space, there are such things as 2.5TB hard drives now)

Its not the server [U]hardware[/U] that causes corruption.
The only software on there server I believe is Minecraft and bukket.

It's called the map's too big and the server's constantly online. It has crashed so often, it's a miracle it's still functional.
Make sure you know what happened first.

Yes the minecraft server software is bad and no those aren't bigger servers (world wise).

if you've ever hosted a minecraft server you would know that the MC server software is complete shit with resource management and generally just not being gay
