I'm on the 2b2t.us server, and I went to Aaron's new base, stole 8 gold, torches, and left. I raided the old sky base there of wood and trees, and I'm traveling outward. What's the best distance to go to. I don't want to travel to far, and would love a TRUSTING (emphasis on TRUSTING) companion. Anyone wanna help? Thanks.

Go about fifty blocks out, and make your base really obvious. You should be able to see spawn when you use your chests. You'll be fine.

You could use snow instead, which isn't flammable and looks similar. And is hell of a lot easier to get.

Just try moving around. That happened to me once. You can also try logging out/in. (Force logging)

I tried moving around, and it still tele'd me, but at least now it kinda fixed itself
It'd be great if when you get stuck at the top of bedrock in the Nether, you spawn at the bottom of the normal world.

Same happened to me, unfortunately.
The player data got corrupted or something so they had to erase it so all the peoples items got removed.

Finally decided to give this server a go, walked a few km, and I must say I'm genuinely surprised by how un-griefed this server is. Once you get about 1k blocks from spawn, it actually resembles a normal server, rather than a swastika covered crater :v:

I'm guessing you're referring to the US server, which seems pretty calm. Of course it might seem that way because I haven't been to spawn in a very long time :v:
When I played the old server it looked like an apocalyptic wasteland even a few k out.

Nope, the .net one. It may just be that I walked in a "lucky direction", but I hit forest in about 1000 blocks, and clay in 3000. The only homes I've seen so far past the 1.5k or so mark were abandoned, but undamaged.
