Found a massive base which has everything I could need. I've taken all I want and it still has tons of crap left so I might go back at some point.;I didn't destroy it though, the garden was literally an underground landscape and even had a bridge.

It would appear so,I think im also stuck above nether still.
I went on 2b2t.us asking if there was anywhere I could camp for the night. I was expecting a sourpuss answer, but I was pleasantly surprised.
"No. We have a nice castle here though. If you find it, you're welcome to go away"
The US server is a very friendly place for the most part, as far as I've seen.

Agreed, went on it today, got out of spawn, bumped into two folks who gave me a bed, an axe, and invited me to camp with them. I am genuinely surprised.

I found someone's cave that probably hadn't been visited in ages (His castle above it was destroyed)
And i got 4 stacks of brown mushrooms from it :v:
