Yeah that castle you guys found was mine, and it got destroyed the next day. Was fun building it, and now I'm rebuilding it in a far away land.
I forgot to tell about it here, but I'm going to rebuild it and change/upgrade hardware. It'll be back up when I'm not lazy.

well, I just found out 2b2t.net is gone, and 2b2t.us is impossible to spawn at. Can someone remove the lava at spawn, It's really lame.

Yeah, I just respawned there earlier today, and it was clear. Don't know what it's like now.
ZCal and I joined .US last night since .NET was down, and stumbled upon two very nice young fellas. They were building a castle and we set out to upstage them with a larger one... we ended up building one meant to merge into theirs. =P
However, I joined an hour or so ago and saw that a couple of the regular trolls from .NET had joined (chris being one) and were in the middle of griefing everything, so I don't know what's going on at spawn at this point.

UPDATE for .US @ 03-Sep-11 03:00 GMT: Yeah, there's lava at spawn. Looks like it *might* be possible to get out of it, but you'd still be on fire. Server's useless unless someone who isn't yet dead makes it in and clears the area.
If shit is still fucked up at spawn tomorrow I might make the trek to open it up.
I'd go in and clean it up for you guys, but I'm on vacation and just have this little netbook that can't play minecraft. Hopefully someone else is willing to do it.
I dug a hole through the wall with my bare hands, but my guess is Ziggy or his pet closed it up. There was also Jesse getting in my way thinkin' he/she was gonna do something (which never amounted to much considering Jesse couldn't even get past the lava).
Edit: I did make it to the water, but both times I managed to make it past Jesse's blundering self, I got killed by Skeles on the way to safer lands and loads of pigsteak.

Who were the people who kept camping spawn ~a week ago? I tried to get a couple of my friends to join and we just gave up after dieing for the 3rd time and just hosted a private server.
Ridlas is a cool guy who fixes spawn.

Lawl hey guys. It was I that screwed up spawn. So satisfying watching people like MrTater and Chewgum repeatedly respawn in the lava fall. I look forward to the server going back up so I can pour more lava all over spawn, ensuring that anyone stupid enough to die will never be able to play again.

Are you kidding me. I did all that myself. Ziggy wasn't even at spawn until I'd already completely enclosed it and had lava pouring right in the position where you spawn. It took quite a bit of effort, and I consider it one of my better feats of trolling you morons, and I don't want ziggy taking my credit.
