Sadly enough, the new biomes won't appear on old maps, so generating a new map before 1.2 would not generate ANY jungle biome.

Yeah the backup is only intended for immediate issues when im there that very moment and i know it's been fucked over so i can instantly restore it.

First basically a bukkit build caused an exception mentioning something about pistons, it keeps doing this on every start. I'm not sure if its here where the chunk glitches occured or if its after, when I acquired a cb build that seemed to work which is when we noticed there were huge holes everywhere, chunk glitches removing chunks of smoothstone, huge parts at time.

Well thats a mayor fucking glitch then. 2 days ago me and nath noticed the piston's in Jerrai's house where acting very wierd also. constantly appearing and dissapearing. And I guess chunkerror's can't be fixxed.
And the idea of a new map is actually fun too. Since we haven't seen much of 1.1 yet and the last map was very spreaded and disorientated in my opinion.

New map is clean start for everyone.
We could like, build ruins of the current cities in the next map for the sake of rememberance on how all of them just got fucked up in the blink of an eye.

Personally, I think transferring Virvel isn't the best idea. It's not a fresh start if a town's already erected. I know people would be agitated if they lost all the hard work put in to the wall, but this kind of thing happens.

Honestly if I don't transfer it over, I won't play for the next 20 weeks.
Would it be cool to have a plugin (as end game) which causes each block to work as leaves, and make them dissapear? It'd be tough as hell to survive then. And when it's over, a new world will be made.
