It's the same. It happened twice today, I personally think thunderstorms should be temp. disabled.
At least the fire doesn't actually destroy blocks, it could be a lot worse.

Still very busy, sorry if the trade post is running low. I'm not going to be on the server until probably Wednesday, at which point most of the items available in the shop will go on sail until they've sold out (after I stock everything once, of course). The second version of my protective wall is complete and I'm self sufficient now thanks to the nice little farm on my land. I hope to become a valuable supplier of rare goods to cities in the future now that I've carved out my little niche.

The upper left portion of the wall is complete now, the overview just hadn't updated at the time of this post. I've got to put guard towers on the two southern corners and think of a good design for a gate.
I do plan to expand to the large hill in the bottom of the image, expanding the reach of the walls and building a rather massive tower from which to practice my nefarious crafts.

I got a suggestion for something that could make this server very popular and increase active player count very much, since we all know that active players decrease all the time(even though we sometime get new ones such as SonofBrim).
In spring of 2011 i used to play a lot on a Swedish mc server, and the owner of that server once had a talk with the guy behind the "Super Earth" server. And he said that the one if the biggest reasons why they become so large was because they during a month time bumped their thread on minecraftforum.net almost constantly, and now i'm not talking about simple "bumps", no they were talking about things they did in the server and posted pics and such, i think it was about 5 people who did this, they wrote at least one post each 30-60 min so that the thread would stay on page 1 all the time.
This is what i think we should do, and if profan creates a thread at minecraftforum.net with lots of information and such just like this threads first page i would personally make one post each hour during my free time, and if this is going to work i trust others could spend 1 min of their free time each hour to make just one post to so that i won't be the only one posting.
Even though we maybe not will get an average 50 players on all the time i hope we could reach at least 30.
So what do you guys say?

They will have to accept it, or be banned shortly
I think the forum thing would be great, but a storm of children would arrive. You know what those forums are like.
I would say quality over quantity but the server is starting to get a bit lonely.
