I'm terribly inactive in Minecraft at the moment, so unless you take satisfaction with a 'five year plan', I think you'll rather want to build it yourself.
If you'll still want me to build the lighthouse, post a pic of the town and the area it's going to be in, so I know what style it needs to be in.

Would it be possible to increase the sapling drop rate? I don't really like cutting down trees without replacing them.

As someone said in the chat yesterday, wood should be harder to get. If every tree gave a sapling, the resource would be infinite. Current drop rates are fine.

Bullshit. That's a terrible decision. I mean, how the fuck do you come up with that shit? Do you have a special council where each of you tries to come up with the best way to fuck shit up or something?

1. Hey you guys, remember how Minecraft is all about building cool shit? What if we stopped people from building? That would be hilarious, right?
2. Ooh, I have an idea! What if we stopped people from replanting trees? They eventually wouldn't be able to make crafting benches, torches, tools, basically anything that requires wood! They'd be stuck stealing benches and wood from eachother! Imagine the drama!
3. Amazing idea! Also any area around a town would become deforested as hell! Treeless, flat plains as far as the eye can see! I love it!

Consider this, last map drop rates were even lower but the map wasn't even completely deforested.
There are massive forests all over the place, you're not gonna run out of it any time soon especially with being able to replant a portion of them.

I don't think he's asking for [i]every[/i] leaf block to drop saplings, but just make the chances of getting one a bit bigger. It's really annoying to cut down a tree only to have a bunch of useless leaf blocks drop down on your head.
I hate leaf blocks. They're completely useless and take up my valuable inventory space.

The best would be that you get at least one sapling from each tree, that way you could always re-plant a tree you just cut down.

This is how i think Isla Cuevas should look. The empty spaces is something we could leave until later or where we could expand for houses. The parks could also be our tree farms.
