This alliance promises that they all have each others back if a major war breaks out. Spain, the Indian states, and Germanic states, on the other hand, strongly oppose this alliance. They condemn it and demand it be disbanded. They fear that the power if the alliance could overwhelm that of any nation. The Germanic states threaten to form a Kingdom of the Rhine, similar to the Confederation of the Rhine, in order to combat the powerful alliance. Spain threatened the militarization of their French border and the annexation of Gibraltar. - The Dutch Republic gives the province of Freisland to Britain for 1,000,000 British pounds. He wants it to be bigger and more grand to that of the Hagia Sofia in Istanbul. - The state gives Indus River farmers loans and subsidizes in order to operate at maximum capacity with the crop rotation method. The harvest this year is great for the country and there was a surplus of food. Which was generously distributed to the poor. - In order to help partially modernize the countries century old infrastructure, projects in order to build modern roads, dockyards, merchant guilds and rebuilding crumbling factories are ordered in the cities of Hyderabad and Karachi. The projects aren't due to be done until the next 3 years but it is estimated the output of the cities will be increased. All is well for this, however the spending is putting a small strain on the economy. - Construction of military outposts begin in the Hindu Kush in order to deter crime in the area. And in order to show the strength of the Durrani military, a massive military outpost is constructed at the mouth of the Kybher Pass. Also this would be used to collect any taxes from those traveling on the silk road. - Settlers are offered to have small military units travel with them for protection. Many accept due to the fear of being mugged. And once a sizable settlement of 50 is established, they can apply for the construction of roads and police stations. This helps modernize the countries backwaters. - The Durrani military begins reforms to model the army after that of the Ottoman Empire, to a point, a new form of unit comes along with these reforms known as the Afathir that is made up of veteran riflemen armed with long bore rifles, schimtars, 34 musket balls and enough tools to keep them alive should they become separated from their unit long enough to recontact civilization. These new units quickly win acclaim with many of the empire as the men of the mountains, the tip of the schimtar, and the Swords of Allah. - With organ guns and long rifles bought from their respective countries, manufacturing of local variants begin in the Empire. This helps the economy and creates jobs. The nationalist declare that a war is imminent with the Austrian government unless they are given independence. - A giant wedding is held where Polish and Austrian princes and princesses marry each other in order to secure the bloodline. I apologize for the inaccuracies in the turn. I am rough at GMing because I haven't done it for a while. I can also say this is a ass tier turn.
