Who I'm invading, how I'm invading them, or through what channel/geographical locale I'm invading them in, does not affect the total operational capacity or strength of my military, only the effectiveness it has in that particular scenario.
I didn't ask why progress was slow. I asked why my military was classified as "weak". Especially considering France's is "strong" when they've only been restored for a year or so and haven't had time to rebuild their country, let alone their military.

Yeah there's 0% chance of that happening and -100% chance of me being at all frightened of South Africa, Ethiopia, French Morocco, West Germany, or Belgium.

Also I JUST noticed like every map we've ever used for this games has been wrong about Gibraltar.
British held Gibraltar is like a 2.3 square mile piece of land on a peninsula nowhere near (relatively speaking) the Strait of Gibraltar
The land that's colored on the map for Britain isn't Gibraltar. It's like half of Cadiz and half of Malaga.
You've been forced into a stalemate in south France, hardly having taken a handful of provinces after a surprise attack on a rather unprotected flank. The entirety of the French military, which, at worst, is about on par with yours is now bearing down on you. You now also have attacks coming in from your southern flank, two moderate powers (Belgium and West Germany) and two African nations coming to fight you.
In addition, you've dragged the UK who is still a huge military power into war against you, as well as the United States who, if you're lucky, will just fund your enemies out the ass like they did the Russians to win the eastern front. And that's just hoping they don't outright invade you, which they most likely will. On top of that, Russia will most likely invade you next turn judging by the infobox.
This isn't even accounting for your domestic situation.
Dude, just surrender, there is literally no hope for you to have any effect besides further ending fascism in Europe.

This is not a "forced stalemate" it's a poor defense about to crumble against a superior force.
Also, the African nations are a fucking joke. Do they even have adequate transport ships to get to me? Even if they do, they don't have an escort navy to defend them. They'd be sunk by coastal defenses or my own fleet before they're able to land.
