So when am I gonna actually start getting peoples turns?
I'm sending smoke signals, look out your window.
the song was about the Reynes being utterly crushed by the Lannisters after they rebelled against them for pretty much no reason other than arrogance and believing they deserved to rule the Westerlands rather than the Lannisters
I know what it's about, and that's a gross misrepresentation of why the Reynes rebelled. They perceived Tytos Lannister to be an ineffectual and incompetent leader. They just wanted out from under the Lannister's thumb, not to rule all of the Westerlands. Also in the novel, the House of Tarbeck also rebelled against Tytos Lannister alongside the House of Reyne
House Tarback was a vassal of sorts under the Reynes, in the feudal system, and its safe to assume they wanted the westerlands under the control, seeing as how they believed themselves to be more powerful to House Lannister, plus GRRM doesnt go into great detail on why they rebelled so its safe to make your own opinion on it. The Whole Reason I replied was because your comparing yourself to a house that was completely obliterated and the coalition to the house that hammered the nail into the coffin :suicide:
I didn't say it was a happy comparison, but it fits. Also "Rains of Castamere" is a fucking amazing song

Fuck I was preoccupied today, sorry. You should have my turn in a little while
If somebody could fix the Soviet occupied portions that'd be nice. Austria (Divided), as well as Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania are of Great Sovyet.
Can't wait for that next turn.
If somebody could fix the Soviet occupied portions that'd be nice. Austria (Divided), as well as Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania are of Great Sovyet.
Oh and Czech is as well
If somebody could fix the Soviet occupied portions that'd be nice. Austria (Divided), as well as Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Albania are of Great Sovyet.
Romania had a government in 1947, Austria was part of the partition plan, Hungary had a government in 1946, Bulgaria since 1946, Albania since 1944 Czecoslovakia was never under Soviet administrative government and turned communist via coup in 1948. As it stands they are under Soviet influence but not communist. so basically all the countries you want as "occupied" are free. The only ones contestable are Austria and Romania.
USSR has officially agreed to create the People's Republic of North Korea! Long Live Kim Il-Sung, our eternal president!

The Finland Comintern treaty is now being processed to strengthen our relationship and unify our people after a terrible war. More details will follow next turn.

If we were going to give every nation militarily and economically controlled by another nation to the larger party, then the following countries would not be there: Bhutan (UK/Raj) Kuwait (still not on the map) (UK) Xinjiang (USSR) Mongolia (USSR) Egypt (UK) (more or less) Guatemala (USA) (side note, why is Panama part of US in the map?) Saar (France) Hungary, Bulgaria, Albania: Puppets =/= direct control. If we were to hand over puppets, the following nations would not exist: Mexico (USA) Cuba (USA) Guatemala (USA) Nicaragua (USA) Colombia (USA beginning next turn) Iraq (UK) Saudi Arabia (UK) West Germany (UK/USA/France) Austria (UK/USA) Greece (UK/USA) Bhutan (UK/Raj) Xinjiang (USSR) Mongolia (USSR) Communist China (arguable USSR) Tibet (arguable China) Iran (UK) Syria (France) Lebanon (France/UK) Czechoslovkia- the community party is not in control until 1948. while a huge influence, Czechoslovkia is still a liberal democracy.
Doesn't mean he doesn't have a huge amount of influence on their actions.
Doesn't mean he doesn't have a huge amount of influence on their actions.
That's not the same as owning.
That's not the same as owning.
I didn't say he owned them I implied he controls them. Which he does.
I didn't say he owned them I implied he controls them. Which he does.
No one is disputing this, but his thing was that he claimed he was occupying/owning/controlling them. So you just argued over nothing. There's no need to change the map over it. [editline]23rd October 2014[/editline] also i fixed the map [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/38678023/world%20maps/ironcurt1946-7.png[/t]
Actually didn't know some of that. However we started in 1946 and I never went through with them governing themselves.
Actually didn't know some of that. However we started in 1946 and I never went through with them governing themselves.
I assumed that we started at the ass end of 46, so changes were for the year 47.
If you refuse them governing yourselves you'll piss off the west and every single person living in the occupied territories.
If I cared what the west thought I wouldn't have made them communist, nor established the DDR. I have no plans for continued occupation however, it's unnecessary and not a goal of the sobyet.
;46315847']Possibly but then I think the map would be ever wronger at the beginning? plus the turn says 46-47, not just 47 or whatever, even though he said turns were 2 years
Thats a mess up on my part. I meant from Jan 1st of 46 to December 31st of 1947
You know, this RP is a lot like real life. With players arguing which countries is theirs just like how real life countries argue which country is under their control.
I hate to be that guy, but any eta on the turn?
