And that's just your side of the story. Mine was even cooler. A tale of rebellion, a simple shop owner turning the city upside down in search of more money. I owned the entire sewer system at one point, and used it to get around the city and perform missions; this all was done for me to gain money. Because money makes the world go round.

This one didn't cause the server to crash though, which is suspiciously weird.

Server is back up and due to keypad not working, we scrapped it for "sit anywhere" and "gterminal." Though I [i]hope[/i] Chessnut sends me a non workshop version I can tinker with.

Sorry about the map guy, I was fiddling with some bugs and after fixing them, well, I forgot to change the map back to rp_bloc42. I haven't slept because I was up all night trying to fix these few issues. I'm at work, posting through my phone, but I'm about an hour the map will be back to normal and for the most part, the server should be bug free. Some new things while I'm at it. Radios can be purchased and microphones purchased by "Radio Operators." When I get off work I'll make everyone able to buy them and have them work on a channel by channel system. Different radio stations that players can set up. Melds combat, just felt there needed to be a fist swep. I'll add blocking and heavy hitting in a few hours. Cops no longer spawn with their tools and must get them from a Police Locker that the police chief purchases. It doesn't do anything for non cops, but I'll allow normal players to "break into" it and steal some supplies. Weather is added. Purely cosmetic, but I like it and its relatively resource lightweight. That's about everything, save me adding the hunting how and gterminals. I was fiddling around with them, and although they're simple, the terminals are very good for role play. I'll update as soon as I get off work.

Sorry about not being on as often recently. Had something come up and my girlfriend and I had to visit my family for some issues my parents have been experiencing. Long story short, I've been only able to use my laptop and phone to access and administrate, but starting tomorrow I'll be on more often again and I'll start giving some moderator privileges to certain good players on the server just in the off chance that more issues arise. Sorry for the inconvenience guys, I know it's been rough.

Nice to see that there's actually a nicely run server out there. I don't know if anyone else remembers, but there used to be a roleplay community called MelonBrew that operated exactly like this. It wasn't serious HL2RP, but everyone got along, everyone had their part to play, the police were actually nice and usually went round patrolling checking everyone was OK... Good days. I'll be popping in quite a bit.

The pain was so intense she passed out and burned to death. I will happily take my oscar for my role as "Schneider Reidel" , I believe my vocal qualities were suffice as well as my prop department, bravo. I also didn't die, I teleported into the realm of nothingness due to a failed experiment at my lab, and I shall mysteriously rematerialize in a few hours.
