The GModRP Experiment - Facepunch gets to tell me what to do

I might be willing to bring the server back, but with the lack of player interest, I don't know if it would be worth the time and effort. Finals for most people are coming to an end, so at this point it might make sense, but I really need community input.

Doesn't help that most of the old members were fans of the Sandbox server I hosted not the DarkRP, and many have stopped playing Gmod entirely. I've also been putting effort since January into a real time strategy gamemode incorporating RPG elements so I may implement that into the server, or as a secondary server, once the project gets to a functional point.

It really just matters if Facepunch even players Garry's Mod enough to warrant bringing it back.

Domino-effect; happens pretty constantly with roleplay servers, especially small ones with even smaller communities.

If I did bring it back, I don't know if I can guarantee it would stay roleplay and DarkRP for very long. I'd have to spice things up to keep peoples' attention.

When I brought back SCP Minecraft, it managed to die after only a month or two later due to player disinterest even though I had constantly added content and scenarios and freedom; people move on to other games.

I've been looking for something to bring me back into GMod again. I wouldn't be against that thing being this.

I'd like to give this server an try. Still, I should download the addons required tomorrow. All the addons are in the OP, Right? Maybe I could be an Sergeant or somethin'. I'll try to make something up by tomorrow. Would be cool if I made an platoon to clear out terrorist houses, Right?
