A New Order V2: Electric Boogaloo- an Alternative History RP, wherin the baddies won WWII

But I thought that the flags are already in the OP?
Ten of them, and they're not 150 x 250.
I had to recreate all ten from scratch cause we lost like all the old ones.
I decided to check my flags folder, where I usually keep the unique flags I've used in all the RPs.
I managed to find the flag I used for the original "A New Order". It was 50x30, the same size as the flags in the "Playable nations and alliances" image. So, I'd suspect 50x30 is the flagsize in order for them to fit into the image.
Oh jeez this again
I suggest we use 50x33 so they don't look really squished
My B Chernobyl.
I'll be Italia
Fuck it I'll be Iberia.

-Germany’s moon mission is a success, with an astronaut giving the Nazi salute to colored TV’s across every major nation.
-Germany decides to invade half the lands on Earth and sends troops into both unincorporated Africa and most of western Russia.
-Russian leaders have met in Severodvinsk to decide on a plan of action, many are nervous, as this is combined with what seems to be a restart to the long dead idea of Russian nationalism.
-Germany has also given their blessing for the Iberians to invade France. This is odd as the French more or less followed whatever the German government demanded.
-The Iberians also begin their own recolonization of Africa.
-The global economy begins to rapidly go downwards as multiple super powers goes to war and every other one begins ramping up military spending to WW2 levels.
-Several Scandinavian countries face a series of assassinations and bombings, and the countries intelligence agencies have vowed to catch whoever has done such a thing. Currently there are no suspects.
-Finns flee Scandinavia in the thousands at the governments sudden fondness for totalitarianism. Countries such as the United States and to a lesser extent, Australia, begin to see an influx of Scandinavian culture in response.
-In response to German military aggression, the Japanese military begins arming itself for war. The navy expands, and many fear a nuclear war is approaching.
Wars and Conflicts
German Invasion of Russia
Domestic view: Mixed with mixed approval
International view: Shocked
Fronts:
Chuvasia- Muscovite troops swarm the border, surprising the small amounts of Chuvasian soldiers posted along the border. The Chuvasians are pushed back but West Russian troops soon come over their shared border to reinforce Chuvasian defenders. The siege of Tsivilisk becomes televised across the world as the battered Russian soldiers defend the city at all costs against the swarming Muscovites with their German support.
West Russia- Muscovite troops also make a move on West Russia as well but the West Russians set up a strong defense along the Rybinskoye Reservoir. The West Russians were unable to resist the surprise attack, especially thanks to German support, but they have made a noble effort in stopping the attack and Muscovite troops have begun to stall. The West Russians have poured most of their resources into the line, as a breakthrough here will cause a collapse in the lines and allow an attack behind the defenses along the Volga.
Kazakhstan- Although the Muscovites have knowledge of battling in winter regions, aiding in their efforts against the Russians, the Muscovites have little knowledge of battling through the harsh steppes of Kazakhstan. Although Muscovite troops march through, along with the largest concentration of German troops on any front, they take large losses thanks to Kazakhstani guerilla tactics. So far, losses here are the smallest out of each front, but German military commanders fear that the Kazakhstanis are purposefully drawing them out, and recommend forces pause to wait for the establishment of superior better lines.
Overall:
Although internationally reception is mixed, the assorted former Russians have all expressed disgust over the invasion. Although so far there has been no threats from the Germans, many fear this is a beginning of a second invasion of Russia and the Germans have unintentionally resparked Russian unity.
Although so far the Russians are disorganized, they have rapidly begun reopening lines of communication that have been closed for nearly twenty years. Volunteer regiments have already been organized to fight in Komi, Mari and Tatarstan, the three nations fearing attack the most. Many other Russian nations have sent supplies and money to assist the war effort, and a conference is planned in Severodvinsk between various Russian leaders to decide on a plan of action.
Despite this opposite, German-Muscovite forces have managed to fight through the winter with minimal losses due to the weather thanks to German emphasis on winter supplies. However, German command is pessimistic about the combined militaries abilities to maintain the current supply lines, especially since the invasion was done with nearly no preparation.

Iberian Invasion of France
Domestic view: Mixed with mixed approval
International view: Shocked
Iberian troops have crossed the Pyrenees without much resistance due to the continued war reparations of the second world war. The French have only began to form a tenuous line at Bordeaux with Toulouse nearly being razed by Iberian artillery. The Iberian forces care little for collateral damage, relying instead on a quick advance, and the damage to historical monuments has brought widespread condemnation from nations across the world. Pictures of dead French civilians around the single remaining support beam of the Basilique Saint-Sernin has been circulated along anti-war circles and has starred on Newsweek Magazine in the United States.
Although the Iberians have made a strong start, the French have become moralized for the first time in twenty years. The Iberian military is currently unsure of what Madrid expects so suddenly, but they have expressed fear as the line begins to form. Although they expect to be able to push to Paris in a year, if the French manage to garner enough foreign support and to restart their war machine, it’s possible the Iberian line would stagnate.

German Recolonization of Africa
Domestic view: Annoyed with low approval
International view: Uncaring
German colonial forces and local troops have advanced into the untamed deserts and jungles of Africa. Nobody is quite sure why the Germans suddenly take interest in this land, but this has become the cause of large amounts of criticism within the Reich itself. Many civilians are unsure of why they should be taking the barren lands of Africa, and despite local resistance being minimal, large German losses due to extreme weather and disease has already sparked waves of criticism. German losses are low, but disease has begun spreading to German camps and despite the harsh demands of Berlin, the advance has slowed rapidly.
Iberian Recolonization of Africa
Domestic view: Annoyed with low approval
International view: Uncaring
Iberian soldiers have marched into the deserts of North Africa with the intention of subjugating the land. The land is nearly completely empty, and there isn’t much to transmit disease like the jungles of the south, but Iberian forces have few supplies or preparation to begin colonizing a useless desert. Dehydration becomes a huge problem, and although Iberian forces have begun establishing a series of outposts, the land remains mostly useless and many Iberians are wondering why exactly they are moving south.

-German forces invade Russia with almost no justification and not only does the international community express disgust, so does almost the entirety of former Russia which quickly begins creating a combined front against the Germans, effectively restarting Russian nationalism.
-Germany and Italy form an alliance. However, the Italians seem to only tenuously support the Germans and no troops move to Russia or Africa.
-The government shows a support of leftism with Hitler stepping down from the position of fuhrer and appointing Goring as the new leader. Nobody knows why the government calls this democracy, and they find it painfully ironic when they then insult Speers and claim that leftism will destroy the German nation.
-Goring then says they’ll make it difficult for the Germans to fight the Japs, which does wonders for German-Japanese relations.
-President Goring soon appears in military parades in nearly every major city, with airwaves being filled with propaganda about the Japanese threat and the demand for mourning for the fuhrer’s near assassination.
-Conscription is reformed to a Burgundian system, which basically means “everyone.” Unsurprisingly, this causes some small amounts of protest.
-Additionally, several new submarine fleets begin construction. The effect on the German economy is instantly noticed.
-The leftists in the government near universally speak against the sudden militarization of Germany, and the public, although cheering at every rally, are generally split between left and right elements.
-Many Japanese citizens also suddenly disappear, and with new methods of communication, it becomes clear they didn’t leave on their own volition. Although Germany is silent on this, many conspiracy theorists claim that this is the same that happened to Europe’s once large Jewish, Romani and… everything else population.
-Oil pipelines are planned in Italy and Muscovy, but the Italians block the idea, asking who exactly gave the Germans to build in Italian land.

-An invasion of France quickly begins, with justification being fuck all. The international community speaks against it, but the Germans give the invasion their blessing and withdraw their troops from the country.
-The Iberian public has little support for the war and have begun organizing protests against the Iberian government.
-Recruitment drives are ramped up to support the war effort. They meet low amounts of support.
-Construction begins on a new battleship and two new destroyers, with advisors expecting them to be completed in a year.
-An alliance is made with Germany and allegiance is sworn to the Reich. Many Iberians see this as their leader selling their nation’s independence.
-A secret police force, the Policia del Estado, is formed. They quickly begin imprisoning foreigners in order to ‘protect’ Iberia. They meet resistance from regular Iberian intelligence and police services, who fear the new organization will take from their power.
-New industrial complexes are soon built, based around industrial and consumer goods.
-A borehole is begun in what was once the Mediterranean, with scientists studying minerals and geological anomalies there. The project will take over a year, and scientists are unsure of what the government is expecting.
-Development begins on new data storage methods, as well as processing units and display screens. Although progress is slow, Iberian researches express optimism that they are on the verge of scientific breakthrough.

-The East Russian military begins a series of military exercises, attempting to harden their small military. Many wonder if this will come in use against the Germans, in fact, many hope so.
-On that note, demonstrations begin across East Russia, asking for unity against the looming threat of Germany.
-Diplomatic ties are made with the ex-Soviet states to the east of East Russia, and diplomatic missions are formed with most of them.
-A state owned oil & gas company named Gazprom is formed. Oil supplies begin to increase, though many private oil companies fear that they may go out of business with Gazprom suddenly taking most of the countries state owned oil industry.
-Surveyors are sent out to find more oil and gas deposits. One is found, and oil production quickly begins to ramp up as Gazprom takes control.
-A port is constructed in Dudinka and the oil is soon sent out to foreign shores. Although the city is little more than a town, it quickly begins growing at an exponential rate with Gazprom building many offices and refineries there.
-An attempt is made to modernize the armed forces with the new oil money, but progress is slow without any dedicated suppliers.
-Another state run company, KMDB, is created to organize East Russian arms production. The company faces a similar problem as the government where few are willing to sell the Russians arms.

-The English government somehow becomes more fascist, with nationalists attempting to respark the English spirit while also attempting to cozy up with Germany, a rather contradictory situation.
-Of course, the English government begins accusing minorities of being the source of Englands problems. Most are already in subservient positions from German political pressure, and they have little room to argue, but many Englishmen speak out against the sudden racism.
-And the cherry on top is that a black shirt youth organization is founded. It faces little popularity as many families still remember resisting the Germans not even 20 years ago.
-Military exercises begin, with the government hoping to bring back British military might. With German war reparations, military command is pessimistic.
-M16 is purged, with many of its members being removed for disloyalty.
-Many other parts of the government are then removed as M16 dives into an investigation of economic corruption. The definition of corrupt is generally ‘whoever we don’t approve of,’ but many corrupt individuals are removed from power. Among others.

-Following global trends, the Indian military is expanded and wages are increased.
-The Indians attempt to strengthen their mediocre Air Force and Navies .
-Consoul is called with Afghanistan and Bengal to see if the three nations can find peaceful methods of cooperation. The two majority Muslim nations are extremely hesitant, and little is done. An economic free trade alliance offered by India is refused, but the two nations do agree to increase trade and lower tariffs.
-The Indian government announced the “New India” program to advance the economy, repair infrastructure and heal the poverty in the nation, as well as help cure the rift between Hindu and Muslims.
-The first part of this program is outreach to foreign universities in the west to help bring in overseas jobs and academic training for Indian youth, the Indian government also attempts to import machinery to begin heavy production.
-They fail to find much help though, as most of the world is preoccupied. The United States takes on some students and limited amounts of industrial supplies are brought in from Russia, but overall the program will need closer international ties to see much fruit.
-At the same time, infrastructure is expanded to link industrial zones together, with everything from water pipes to subway trains being refurbished and expanded for ridiculous costs.
-This too fails to see much traction as all of the government’s new programs are rapidly shrinking the treasury. Several rail lines are rebuilt and a series of bridges sees new supports, but the government’s funding is stretched thin and little improvement is seen.
-One of the only things that sees anywhere near the desired amounts of success is a multi-cultural committee organized by the Indian government. The committee, made of both Hindu and Muslim representatives, is set out to oversee the desegregation of Indian society and aid in affirmative action program.
-Although the signs of corruption is evident and infighting is frequent, the group manages to help heal some tensions in India’s major cities. The rift is still there, but it is slowly closing.
-The programs, each good ideas in their own right, tend to see major issues as the Indian government simply fails to fund any of them. With little income coming in and with major expenses, the Indian economy begins to struggle to fund the program and a deficit looms on the horizon.
-The Indian government quickly labels this a success.
-The Indian intelligence service is also expanded, but the aforementioned budget concerns means it can’t get very far.
-Research is made into new forms of power and railways. The Indian government attempts to fund the research of nuclear reactors but they can simply build on already made German and American designs. Little progress is made in this field, but the government does see some theoretical improvements in their rail designs after piggybacking Japanese experiments done several years prior.

-A draft is issued for two years, intending to bolster the size of the military. Training in irregular warfare becomes the main focus. The design of the antiquated M3 SMG is used as a primary infantry weapon.
-Massive armaments and military production goes into effect. This puts most people to work building factories and in those factories producing cheap military uniforms, helmets, ammunition, and weapons. All industrialization is centralized under the state’s Industrialist Socialist Worker's Association.
-Keynesian policies such as state housing, state jobs, and progressive taxation and welfare spending bolster the middle class and improve the health of the expanding economy. Land reform grants state lands to those who can clear and farm on them, some of it seized from the rich.
-A Federal Reserve is established with the intent of creating an elastic currency and creating economic policy. Early on, this is ineffective, but as industrialization brings more wealth into circulation, this proves a good move, as citizens benefit from a guided economic policy.
-Helicopters are produced in notable numbers, quickly making up a major part of both transportation and the air forces.
-The military, now significantly strengthened, expands to occupy the surrounding regions. Putting down warring tribal governments and welcomed by many of the unorganized Africans as stability in their world of anarchy, the Liberians quickly establish themselves as a popular government.
-Diamond mining in Sierra Leone provides a massive new industry for Liberians and newly citizened Africans.

-Research into the military goes full speed ahead. Other departments are forgotten as the military becomes Finland’s main focus. Although the country has little means to make new technology, several officers develop some hypothetical military theory for use in a possible invasion, and Finland’s scientists have begun experimental work on modular weaponry.
-Although the government states that it will begin focusing on quality over quantity, the government institutes a draft for those aged 17-22 almost immediately after. This ends predictably, and despite government efforts, quality suffers.
-A civil service is also begun with the new draftees being sent out to help build roads and infrastructure. The draftees have little morale, and the menial labor does little to help.
-The draftees are also sent to build airfields and bases across Finland in order to accompany the growing military. Although progress is quick, quality is low, and the draftees complain of the quality (or lack thereof) of their new barracks.
-The Finnish Foreign Legion is founded, offering citizenship and benefits to all those who join. Membership is minimal, with most of the recruits being a mix of refugees and outcasts from Russia. They don’t speak Finnish, and their morale is worse than the draftees. With extensive background checks, their number is cut even further.
-Some dick named Awegner is remembered on the 19th of October, nobody remembers and his paintings are burned on a pyre. Though a small cult forms around his holy image.
-Finland also declares its independence from foreign powers before immediately forming a trade alliance with England. Germany isn’t exactly happy with this, but otherwise nobody bothers the Finns.
-Those Finn who disagree with this disappear fairly quickly as a new secret police force is founded. Reports come in that some are living in ‘corrective labor camps’ across the country.
-And since the world wasn’t fascist enough, radios begin blaring the message that all Nords should follow the good leader of Finland into following him.
-The topping on the cake is that the entirety of the damned government is purged for disloyalty. Officials disappear for months, only to either be found in a ditch or to reappear, spouting how loyal they are to the government and how much they love their dear leader. All political parties outside of the ruling one face similar purges, and the entirety of the government is shuffled to aid in streamlining the government.
-Not only does the government suddenly see everything from competent military leaders to veteran agricultural ministers ‘disappear’, but the sudden reshuffling means chaos across the capital as politicians scramble to find new positions. Soon, all those who are not loyal are gone, and the only people joining the party are those shouting their love of it the most. Quality is suddenly absent, while most of the government turns into fearful servants to the all powerful government.
-In response, an exodus of Finns begins, and thousands retreat the country to either neighboring Scandinavian countries or across the sea to America where they hope to find some form of political freedom. The number grows every day, and included in it are many former government officials who offer their services to employers less likely to murder them.
-The rest of Scandinavia denounce Finland in response and cut all ties, taking a step back from the insanity.
-Since the president may now do anything he wishes, he reforms everything from education to healthcare. Education turns into a series of propaganda messages about how glorious the military is, while any signs of segregation are eradicated with the government claiming all can contribute to Finland. Even the flag and anthem are changed, with the government naming it the sign of a new era and many liberals naming it the sign of a new fascist government.
-Although the government also tries to open new embassies, those governments that didn’t already have them generally refuse in the face of Finland’s sudden… change.
-Since the Finns haven’t ostracized enough groups, big and small business alike is next. A law is passed that makes all major business decisions go through the government based on the decisions of the government. Since the government recently cleaned house of much of its competence, this is generally used as a way for small level government ministers to take bribes or manipulate business to get rich. Many businesses flee the border along with the hordes of Finns.
-The HMS Awenger begins constructing and sinks in port due to lack of resources. The competition held to find who may serve on it ends in three casualties.

-Conscription is enacted with a civil service opt out. The government proceeds to buy many foreign arms in order to support these new draftees. The arms are generally outdated surplus models from the second world war, and many recruits complain about both the quality of the draftees and their weaponry.
-Fascism finds its way west as the party takes full control. Several 'free' parties are set up to give the illusion of freedom, while many Mexican flee over the border in response.
-The government is soon caught smuggling cocaine and heroine into America, mostly thanks to the number of politicians fleeing the country. In response, many of the politicians preparing to leave suddenly fall under the terrible disease of being shot in the head in shady alleys after a kidnapping, and many fear this is the beginning of fascism spreading across the Americas.
-Free trade zones are also established in poverse areas. Although these areas see a sudden boom of industry, these companies tend to quickly exploit the workers and many complain of the loss of their workers rights.

-Little happens in the United States besides a census which concludes that the population is fairly evenly split between democrats and republicans, with a growing fascist faction. Democrats are suddenly seeing a swell of liberal Finns from the east and the country is slowly tipping left.
-A swarm of Finns from across the sea ends with the creation of several ‘Little Scandinavias’ in major cities as Finnish culture begins to spread across the United States. Several Finns begin entering the US government, and many skilled administrators are elected.
-Many Mexicans also come in from the south, following a wave of cocaine which has been linked to the Mexican government. The southern states demand the border be closed as they end up swarmed in political refugees, fleeing the newly totalitarian Mexican government.

-A new aerial combat school is founded in the deserts of west Australia. The Australian air force is reformed in order to become the worlds foremost aerial combat first. New Zealand accepts an offer to use the school, and the two use older planes as both targets and obstacles as they begin training immediately after the schools construction.
-Quality skyrockets, and although the Australians still can’t hold a candle to their German and Japanese equivalents, they are quickly becoming one of the top air forces in the first world.
-The government also begins experimenting in new IFVs, hoping to create an amphibious vehicle that can transport multiple infantrymen and resist .50 caliber weaponry. The research is years ahead of its time, and although scientists are hopeful, they predict it will take many years to bear fruit.
-Besides the new cooperative air force training, the Australians and New Zealander politicians also mingle in a variety of private and public meetings. Australian politicians tentatively suggest a political union between the last two free nations of east Asia. They are rebuked, though a military alliance is agreed upon.
-The borders are opened to Chinese and Indonesian immigrants. As they have few means to move and their governments generally do not approve of it, the number of immigrants is low.
-Surveyors are sent out to the deserts to tap the area for raw minerals. As independent miners blast open a hole to turn into a mine over a believed mineral deposit, they are greeted by a geyser of oil. The area is soon swarmed by private businesses and Australian government surveyors alike.
-Australian industry soon booms in response, and a series of refineries soon spring up like weeds. Although economic benefit is easily seen, economists fear the economy is growing far too fast, and environmentalists complain this might destroy the Australian ecosystem.
-Research then goes into computer technology. Australian scientists soon begin competing with their Spanish equivalents in the study of microprocessors. Progress is made, and it’s currently simply a race to see which will finish its research first.
-Australia finally forms the Australian Association of Doctors which focuses which focuses on working in places such as Indonesia to help train doctors and research new medical advances, pumping most of the government’s foreign aid money into the program. Although the program is well received, it goes through several revisions as the program is the first of its kind. By the end of the year, it has rebranded itself as the World Health Organization, and other countries are invited to help fund it.
