Space and his gang did not kill us, haha. The funny story is that we were messing about and Swigger aka fiddle kid or whatever hes called these days locked Zucchini, luke, and me in a jail room and we couldnt get out. So after wasting alot of time i handcuffed Zucchini. And me and luke were stealing some of his gear, I took out a nade from his protector case. As we couldnt get out and Luke trying to kill me with an axe i unpinned the nade and threw it. So we all died in that room and swigger came over and dropped all the gear of our body's so we could get it back later. Then after i came back Cain and his gang were logging in there and i got cold bloodedly killed with luke :(! as a fresh spawn.

Nah, we can choose between persistence on and off.
And that means all loo is persistent. So are vehicles.
We're looking at making restarts a little more frequent, when persistence is enabled.

I'm still curious to as how loot respawning works with persistence, I've read somewhere the server is using global item quantity and not area quantity. So if everyone hoards gear in their tents, there won't be any more proper loot? Or am I seeing it wrong here

I really have no idea too, sometimes loot piles up like crazy sometimes there's nothing. Sometimes it's just right.
