With the new patch all my weapon attachments were gone when I spawned. :(

Yes it happened to everyone - they renamed the class names for all attachments from Attachment_X to Att_X and forgot that the hive relies on such class names. A rookie mistake if you ask me.

Finance became an issue, I'm not sure of its state at the moment.

Yeah, it is. Server pop started to diminish and my will to play (and pay) was slowly gone. It wasn't just me though, some others shared the same opinion.
Yeah the server is down for now. I'll definitely look into getting it up and running in a few months, when people want to play again, and the game has been updated further.
