Its not a hack ffs. you dont just have specific coords spit out at you. you have to take the time to change the /tell radius range and zero in on a player. it takes time. and autism. it is, however, a vulnerability on mojangs part; players/non OP's shouldnt have access to @ selectors

Guys from what I can see Pop is not the guy here to blame, Taylo was the one I THINK was doing this. He was on 3b3t telling people what quads they were in and he got creeperhalo nearly down to exact location.

popbob is likely using a custom (like autistically custom) client, where things like that can be easily automated.
Guys I'm going to say it again, POP IS NOT AT FAULT TODAY! There is no evidence against him TODAY, what we know is that Taylo was able to pull cords from players on 3b3t using the supposed "exploit" after 2b2t was turned off. House is focusing on the bigger point though that ANYONE can do it, its not isolated and we shouldn't be witch hunting, we need to problem solve somehow.

I think better solution would be to block the brackets in chat - because that was needed to supply the coordinates specs

I was trying to put it across to the disbelievers that the exploit is real, Taylo showed us that it is real. But there must be a way to fix it even if it means disabling all whisper/tell/msg features for the time being. Mojangs shit code is well what it is, SHIT CODE, hell bukkit and spigot have fixed more shit to do with minecraft than the developers themselves. I mean I guess we can all submit reports to bukkit/spigot/whatever and request a fix be made, but still even then we are at the mercy of some fat keyboard math wizard.
