Alright, since I'm doing the map, give me your territorial expansion (GM should give you the amount of provinces you can expand) and I'll incorporate it into the Turn 1 map. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, then give it to the GM. Giving the expansion directly to me will probably speed things up a bit, though.
Wouldn't that mean that we shouldn't Write anything in our turns in regards to expansion?
I have no idea how that sort of thing works, that's for the GM to decide.
To answer the questions concerning expansion: The way it works is you choose how you want to expand, militarily or other wise, and I'll do a dice roll to decide how much territory you gain, unless you hit a 1 in which case you get nothing at all. I will be providing Malos with the information necessary to modify the maps, but at the moment I am going to bed [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] In the future there may also be modifiers for certain actions, making it either more likely or less likely to gain territory depending on how you go about it. [editline]3rd August 2015[/editline] Actually I'll stay up a little longer to answer any more questions
When we hit Classical antiquity (8th–7th century BC to 5 AD) will NPC countries develop? Cause we're gonna have a bunch of blank spaces in Afro-Eurasia.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/MJxYzXX.png[/thumb] Actual final map.
Got room for one more? I might try my hand at making something like the Myceneans.
When we hit Classical antiquity (8th–7th century BC to 5 AD) will NPC countries develop? Cause we're gonna have a bunch of blank spaces in Afro-Eurasia.
I'll be sure to put in a few NPC's as we go along, and maybe even a few more players as the game develops and I get used to it. Also, all your turns are in so expect a turn today. If I don't put it out then, give me a motivational nag on steam
Concerning expansion, as to make sure we can actually expand at a reasonable speed every nation will get one free random province every turn. Like that expansion won't rely entirely on random chance, and as tech improves and there are more settlers available this bonus will grow in time

Their military, commanded by the diarchs that also rule their new nation use the leftovers of their previous meals as ranged weapons, filling little pouches full of the ink contained in the squids. With this dastardly little weapon, tracking, ambushing, and disabling prey becomes both more efficient, and combined with their adept craftsmanship of tools, sticks and stones combine to form rather well made spears, and as such they become a rather deadly little fighting force. -The diarchs are not just the commanders of their crude armies and the leaders of their civilisation; they are also the heads of church. Allegedly, they are also very capable singers. The people of Lignje are rather reverent around the mighty squid that forms a cornerstone in their lives, and their state religion reflects that. The Church of the Holy Squid loves all. -As for matters concerning the peoples outside of their dominion, they use the culinary expertise to woo the surrounding tribes. Unsurprisingly, their culinary expertise mainly involves squid. Surprisingly, this proves to be a rather popular dish with outsiders, and many are convinced that the Lignje are the harbingers of civilsation with a single dish. Time will tell if people will grow tired of only eating squid no matter how well made, but as of now, it is the go to meal on tentacles. Griffster26 - Wongkrachang Dynasty Capital City: Krung Thep Culture: Siamese State religion: Satsana Phi -In the far east of the Asian continent, outsiders marvel at some weird shapes on a slab of stone. Some theorise that it is a sign from their gods and praise it. Others think that the stone ate the souls of many people, and do their best to stay away from it. Some think it’s a very nice stone, and take it home with them as a curio. But the people of Siam know what it means, or at least the really smart ones. It means words. The words are merely mouth sounds made physical, and these physical mouth sounds say “THE WONGKRACHAN DYNASTY IS THE MIGHTIEST IN THE WORLD”, and they prove it. They conquer a few territories to the immediate northeast, although it was rather tolling to their forces due to a combination of tribal resistance and their own inexperience. Nonetheless the name Choonhavan is now known throughout the nearby lands as he solidifies his position as king. Mallow234 Talbalyr Capital City: Aartubs Culture: Talbalyrish State religion: Pagan -Every year (as close as it got anyway), the High Chief of Aartubs marched through the fields of his country, flanked by the finest warriors that the land could offer. Every year he would observe the hard work of his farmers as they labored over their crops, and yet every year it was something different. One year it was wheat, the next it was clover, and some it wasn’t anything at all. Merely grass fluttering in the wind. Thanks to the cycling of crops, the fields of Talbalyr remained lively and fruitful, rarely failing to keep the populace fed. -In times of bountiful amounts of food, the High Chief would send out settlers to the north in hopes of growing their dominions, to varying degrees of success, but some success was indeed present, and the Talbalyr grew along the northern coast, protected by militias of diligent warriors. -Further along the coast, the dynasty finds itself tied to a small amount of tribes along the southern coastal towns. Many blame the relatively unsuccessful venture into marrying off their kin to just being rather visually unappealing, but nonetheless a rather lucrative proposal involving the only good looking cousin brings a new tribe under the fold, and the influence of the High Chief of Aartubs grows. But all is not gloom for the Talbalyr, for while the dynasty of Aartubs may not be very good looking, they seem to have possessed a sense of natural charisma, and almost half a dozen towns find themselves trading amongst themselves and the Talbalyr. Fish flows into its nearby towns, and as their diet improves, the population grows. Satansick - Skawt Capital City: Ogee Culture: Skawtian State religion: Zodae -In the heart of Africa, a fire is raging, but it isn’t a fire of heat and light. It is the flame in the hearts of the Skawt, a flame fanned and fueled by war. To the east, they show their worth as warriors. With clubs and crude spears the charge against the opponent tribes after throwing enough rocks at them, with an efficiency so terrifying that village after village beginning to surrender rather than feel the wroth of the western battle hungry civilization, and over the centuries they end up ruling all around Lake Victoria, although they know the lake by another name. As the plains they inhabit stretch, their precious cattle stumble along and graze to their hearts content, and with bountiful grass to consume their offspring prosper too. The Skawt boom alongside their domesticated animals. -Unlike the other civilisations of the world, the Skawt are ruled by a matriarch, but then, the mother goes through the trouble of bearing the child for an agonizing 9 months, so it’s only fair she gets to rule over them, right? Anyway, the Skawt are a survivalist people, teaching their children the skills they need to live and thrive as soon as they can figure out what end of the stick is sharpest. As such, they’ve formed a close bond with nature, and they worship its many aspects. They use the simple materials for their housing, but simple is not the same as crude, and as thin branches merge with the dung of their cattle, new dwelling sprouts up and is maintained with ease. For the long marches across the plain they wear rather hardy shoes, fashioned from the leather of their slaughtered cows. With pouches fashioned from the same material, they can scavenge a long way from home, or even run to a distant battle. And yet there is no single craftsman responsible for the creation of this equipment. The many villagers all work together to create their tools, all specializing on one part of the recipe. -Strangely, the Skawt treat their western neighbours rather differently. They trade goods rather than hits, but it is no less profitable, as during their times of need they find themselves secure in nutrition, and in times of wealth they enjoy a luxurious life free of worry. It seems they have managed to keep a good balance in war and peace. LoganIsAwesome - Acadia Capital City: Academia Culture: Acadian State religion: None (Atheist) -Little do the people of Afro-Eurasia know, but across the vast oceans to the east and west lies a whole new world, and the first civilisation to rule in it is just as foreign and alien as most would expect. Their rulers are chosen by the people, or rather a select group of very very smart people (we hope). These people get together every two months or so with their Grand Councilman to discuss law and order, and most significantly, to choose a new Grand Councilman. They don’t even wait for the old one to get sick and die. And their militia, rather tokenly named “The Armed Forces of Acadia” according to their writings don’t even fight most of the time. They engage in construction project with their fellow men and train vigorously and regularly, and instead of the Grand Councilman commanding every single on of them (although command he still does), they have a hierarchy of trained men to command the men immediately beneath them, with the Grand Councilman commanding his top war chiefs, and the top war chiefs commanding the lesser war chiefs and so on. Fascinating people. -Despite all these promising attributes however, no outsiders seem to want to join in on their fun. Perhaps they are not ready to be included, perhaps they wish to retain their sovereignty, but whatever the reason, the tribes shunned them, and Acadians expanded little, and remain concentrated in their lands. Pezgod1 - Cukoi Capital City: Hoshii Culture: Jōmon State religion: Unnamed Pagan -Although nobody is quite sure who bothered and why, somebody decided it would be a good idea to befriend the horses. While nobody can argue that they aren’t useful, such as in carrying heavy loads, or carrying warriors to the battlefield, it is still a peculiar event, but hey, whatever works. Speaking of warriors however, the Cukoi have managed to distinguish between different types, such as throwy stoney run away-y, sprinty lungey slashey stabby, and punchy clubby testee smashy. They are organized into different groups and are trained in the grounds sanctioned by “Cukoi”, the tribe’s namesake and first real leader. By knowing what job they must do and how to do it moderately well, they become a rather intimidating little army, and they prove their worth by conquering the northeastern territories of the island they live in. A few centuries later and a few dead elected rulers later they become the foremost power on their little patch of earth. -Exploring beyond their border reveals the typical mountains of the region, but there are some regions suitable for the grazing of horses, and perhaps other animals that may be domesticated. People’s wise, there aren’t many. It seems that the rather cold winters discourage survival, although the Cukoi are evidently exceptions. Native Hunter - The Republic of Routang Capital City: Rou Culture: Routangan State Religion: Turoku -The Routang is another oddity among the other civilisations. Similar to the Acadians, their leaders are elected, but the bigwigs are all composed of merchants, and as such, so is their ruler, with the title going so far as meaning “The Great Merchant”. The position is however ceremonial at best, and all the power remains with the oligarchs. In order to protect their interests at home, they form militias called Ganlaion that patrol the countryside, and are armed with something new; something not seen before: copper. Indeed, the Routang are the first to put a greenish rock in the heart of a flame and make something out of what remained. They aren’t great, for metal crafts are still in their infancy, but just how much potential can be unlocked in this material? -Within the republic, there is a flurry of activity. Granaries are built in almost every settlement, as well as crude walls made of muck and branch. Within Rou, the capital, a great market is set up, where artisans and shopkeeps can sell their wares and services, and even receive the trade of, say the Jiuan, which is in fact the case. Perhaps most notably, the 7th Sinsang declared the Code of Yu. With the aid of a Jiuan scribe, he codified the first laws of the land. Amongst which, if a slave of the court is brought outside of the city gates, they shall be put to death. Translation vary; we’re still not quite sure. Still, these laws help maintain some order to a degree. -Thanks to the wealth and law of the Routang, many tribes are convinced to allow themselves to be absorbed, but not all is well. You see, the Routang help supplement their militia by convincing the strapping big boys of nearby tribes to come join their cushy gig, but many of these tribes see the republic as “stealing” their people, and as soon as they were annexed and their boys were back home, they rebelled; declared themselves separate, although no war was declared. Sobotnik - Jiuan Capital City: Anyang Culture: Jiuanese State religion: Zhonghuajiao -Along the Yellow river lies the heart of a richly cultured people. The Jiuan textiles are the finest in the world, filled with detailed patterns and the memories of events past, all thanks to a rather handy invention; the handloom. But a civilisation cannot sustain itself on pretty clothes alone, and established levies to its settlements, calling its member to war should the time call for it, but it’s still not enough for their chieftain, and as such he marries off his relatives to the larger tribes around him, alongside as a few other small gifts, as well as offering protection to the smaller tribes in exchange for tribute. Three accepted the offer, the rest declining for a myriad of reasons, but not long after the death of their venerable allies, all at the hand of club wielding tigers, or so claim their inexplicably wealthier bodyguards, the Jiuan assimilated their lands and people into their own territory. -In order to maintain the dominant position of the ruling dynasty of the Jiuan, the position of chieftain is made hereditary, with clear rules concerning matters of succession, and on the flipside, as they annex their former allies, they introduce non hereditary clerks to govern the villages, making sure that no particular family stays in power for too long. To bolster their wealth along the Yellow river, they set a side a decently large plot of land in the middle of their capital town to be used as a center of trade, where wealthy folk can freely trade and barter with their fellow man, and any surplus made in good times is stored in granaries and preserved and set aside in small storage huts. As their influence spread throughout the years, the namesake of the Yellow river becomes obvious; all the maps detailing Jiuan territory painted their dominion in yellow, and since their dominion largely presides over the aforementioned river… I’ll let you finish that thought. Dr. Ethan Asia - The Free Cities of Aachen Capital city: Magna Aachen Culture: Germanic State religion: Germanic polytheistic paganism -To the citizens of Aachen, the great black cross is a symbol of security, cooperation, and order. Although to us their walls aren’t much, they calmed the hearts of the Germanic people. Stiff barricades of wood and mud constructed with of the stone tools refined throughout the ages prove to be remarkably sturdy against even the most vicious of beasts and attempts of man to break it down. As for anything that is within the walls, they just send over the biggest lads from the local farm to deal with it. This tends to work for domestic problems. -The people of Aachen seem quite content with their villages, and as such, rather than going out on adventures, they stay at home to improve what they already have. As the villages of Aachen blossom into towns, chieftains become petty lords, and Magna Aachen borders on becoming a full-fledged city, a first of its kind. PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR TURNS IMMEDIATELY

Bad news Folks. My dad isn't very happy that I'm spending my holiday with him on the computer, and he's basically not going to let me on it anymore. I can still use my iPad and phone, but frankly if you can write an entire turn on a tablet with my chunky, clumsy fingers youre a better man than I am. This RP is cancelled, but do not despair. I've now got a firm hold as to how GMing works, and I will return.

But if you really want to I suppose we can. I do plan to try a different style to present information. We will see
