You mean Arc Nova, right?
I'll edit that, sorry I'm still used to you being a mod from previous generations of MNR.
what do you mean server isn't down....... I swear.
Dynmap is down as well
what do you mean server isn't down....... I swear.
I Joined and the server went down. I think something is going on with my end, isn't it? [editline]8th August 2016[/editline] Yeah server went up and instantly soon as I joined it got closed.
Keep trying so I can see if it throws an error.
Keep trying so I can see if it throws an error.
Will do [editline]8th August 2016[/editline]

Gimme a minute Yeah somehow you specifically are crashing the server, i'm going to look through the crash logs. pls stop joining [editline]8th August 2016[/editline] something in the area of awesomeness's base is crashing the server, continue to hold.
Use a player data editor and set awesome's location to spawn, it'll unload the chunk and allow people to play until you can work out what is in that area.
Sounds like there is a corruption issue in 4 chunks, we WILL NOT reset the map, it will get fixed. I'm going to keep the server down cause anything anyone does will be removed anyway. I do truly apologize for this delay

It should be fixed?! Try joining lets see? Everything seems to work. Thank you for your patience, please resume dropping yourselves into lava.
Server's unfucked, feel free to find a way to fuck it.
Can i join the server ? ign Wurunduk
A lot of animals, paintings, and other entities have vanished due to the chunk corruption. If you lost anything of actual importance hit me up.
I lost some minor stuff like some sheep and skelly horses. The only real thing of value I had that disappeared was a horse with diamond armor. also rip me, building tall buildings is dangerous
Guys, I'll be changing my username later. Can you whitelist my name as Adeptus now? So you can recognise me as my FP name.
Please remove your signs before you do it, so I don't have to go remove them for you.
ViralHatred, I fixed your sign on the chest. Should be all good. Terry, my beloved mule Wheeler is totally gone. They show up on /stables list, but the /stables summon command still gives me "a mystical force is preventing you from doing this".
Today, I faced pitch, black, wholesome death in the face and emerged victorious... I'll never forget my journey in The End. seriousness aside, Zesty's factory makes for some great scenic screenshots of the entire spawn town. Just don't fall down! [t]http://i.imgur.com/ozCkzg6.jpg[/t]
server down again?
server down again?
looks like it
Won't be on much for the next week or so. Slightly convenient that the server keeps going down when I'm not available to play it anyway :v:
Time for another 2 hour adventure to figure out why the server now won't turn on!
Time for another 2 hour adventure to figure out why the server now won't turn on!
I didn't do it this time I swear!
Time for another 2 hour adventure to figure out why the server now won't turn on!
What is the server hosted on? GSP, VPS or dedi? From my experience, a VPS won't always be up for the task of running a Minecraft server. I was plagued with my own server crashing a fair bit due to the resource limitations of running on a VPS. If it's a GSP, I imagine that stability might be even worse.
It's hosted by Creeperhosting, on their "Gaming VDS"
I'm assuming you have one of the packages between 1GB to 2GB of RAM which is perfectly okay for a vanilla server, but it will definitely struggle to a halt when there are a lot of entities present in one area. Since Aw3s0m3n3ss' chunks seem to crash the server then I imagine that's the case, there's too many villagers active at once which the server can't deal with. If the villagers are there of course. I had a similar experience myself when I hosted a vanilla server two years back on a VPS. I had a huge ass chicken farm that eventually got so big that the server would crash as soon as their chunks were loaded.
I've got "Wither Skeleton Access to 4 processor cores 5120MB of dedicated RAM 38GB of RAID 10 SSD-only storage cloud virtual dedicated server data redundancy via RAID DDoS Protection" RAM has never gone above 30% usage. [editline]9th August 2016[/editline] Technical support has deemed it further corruption of the world.

I'd imagine the server being able to keep up in that case, perhaps just java screwing up? I have had similar issues still with entities on a system that should be up to spec, and in that case I believe it was simply the instability caused by the server running on a virtual host. Perhaps my VPS provider was overselling, it's not too uncommon to hear about. After switching to a dedicated box my servers barely crash. It is unrelated to the topic at hand, but if you're paying that much for a Minecraft server I'd definitely look into a dedicated box. My server is only 10$ more expensive than yours and sits at 32GB of RAM, 2TB of storage, and a nice E3 1225v2 Xeon. At SoYouStart, you can get a dedicated with 16GB and a Xeon + 2TB of storage for 42$, just 3$ more than you currently pay. Or Kimsurfi, they have some nice boxes as well for even cheaper than what you pay while being better specced. Gets you the benefits of actually using your machine to the metal instead of going through virtualized layers and the uncertainty about not knowing if your host is overselling or not. I realize I sound like a walking advert, but it's totally worth it!
