Egypt is proud to announce several key milestones in our wonderful Republic's annals of history. A further alignment with NATO and a strong alliance with the founding nations, sweeping legislation to increase the freedoms of the Egyptian people and protect those freedoms from those who would encroach or dismantle them, and the most ambitious of all: The Qattara Depression Project! France Armed Forces and West Germany's military cooperated on constructing new lines, fortifying the line with new materials. Though proved challenging, reinforcing the old structure with new materials was possible. With construction still ongoing, citizens grow insecure. - France focuses on developing their own tech, finding better ways to make living better. They eye on computer hardware, while printed circuit boards exist their hardware weren't visible on large projects. France took on a large amount of research studying components capable of connecting through conductive tracks. A couple of months down the line France pulled out a redefined circuit board that is more stable and reliable. In their military section, France authorizes better armor for armored units. R&D cooperate with NATO allies to improve the AMX-30. Unfortunately engineers enter a conflict of interest to find out which of their ideas would better fit their armor improvement. Resulting in armor that would be exotic at face value but impractical in execution. While the UK release public information about their promising hardware France heads in the same direction, requesting several heads in the computer industry. Designing a microprocessor at 32-bit, while not as superior than UK's 64 bit they can soon come up with something more. The government also creates a program for biotechnology. People turn confused, hearing rumors of the idea of enhancing humans. Scientists look into GMOs and commit studies on potential effects for Humans. Paid volunteers are sent to labs, supposed to take an injection that would give them greater resistance to disease. After a week in testing the volunteers seemingly went great, immune systems enhanced all the way. Then, the volunteers broke down, dying of illness in the next day. Diverting funds to several science teams on finding a way how to make an adapter to convert heat into light. One team puts a greater heat concentration and as soon as they tested the adapter the device malfunctioned, busting in flames. The team attempts to find a reason for the cause. Their last action on technology involves helping the military's infantry. R&D easily grouped cameras and sensors, producing a prototype device. Several volunteers tested the prototype in military exercises, after the exercise the volunteers stated how useful it was they could see their units and can figure out what's the distance from the target. - France starts a work program in an effort to reduce unemployment, through public projects. Gaddafi's family were sent to the country, working as government advisers to Faso til the situation between Egypt and Libya ends. - African Workers are hired for construction of railroads, attempting to make transportation easier so shipments can be distributed across the country. While construction on transportation has gotten slow over several months and flow of supplies waning down for March. That goes without saying the country has made progress on trams. The genetically modified crops, minerals, and regular grain are exported on due schedule. Libyan companies are allowed to relocate due to the war putting a strain on business. As a result Libyan companies head for Faso and generate supply and demand, helping workers and the people. - Burkina Faso contacts the USSR for a trade for military tanks and weapons.
