Kevin shouts at Mikhail, "Stop!" The car stops and Kevin opens the door. "Get in, Julia. Try not to oversleep next time."
Julia get's all giddy, "Oh boy oh boy oh boy," as she gets in the back seat. "What do we have for our first job together?"
"We're going to local pawnshops to see if they saw this person." Kevin holds up the picture. "I'm still figuring out an apprehension plan but I'm thinking that I'll walk up and talk to him. Someone shoots him in the head while he's distracted or something."
George sighs, hefting up his gear before walking out the door and towards the jeep. "Ain't nothing to do but drink 'n smoke in there. May as well come with you fellas."
[Viper, I'm gonna assume Viktor said yes and he's now with Frank and the others. If not, yell at me over at steam, so we can retcon it] "Everyone ready? Good. Let's go." The group started making their way down to the warehouses. Maybe they would strike gold and find what they need.
"A pleasure to have you George." Kevin pokes his head out of the car window and yells, "Anyone else coming?"
Julia looks at the picture carefully, noticing the tiny details to make sure when she spots the guy, she knows she spotted the guy. "So a distraction then tag 'em and bag 'em? Seems simple enough," she checks her ammo for her pistol. She checks her jacket for extra clips of ammunition and her favorite balisong knife in her left pocket. "Anyone else joining us?"
"Doesn't seem so. Mikhail, let's get going?" Kevin asks.
Voronov glances over at Rodney as they walk, looking at his Makarov. "You know how to use that thing?" she asks, motioning towards it.
Mikhail put tje car into gear and took off. After a brief trip they stopped on the opposite side of the pawnshop. Mikhail took out his Stechkin from beneth the seat and looked at Kevin "You and blondie can go in to see what's up. We will stay here and keep a lookout incase that guy shows up".
George unfolds the bipod of his M60 before rolling down the windows. "Shouldn't be too hard if he rolls round. Just use this, and blast his ass."
Kevin gets out of the car and nods toward Julia. "Let me do the talking." He then waddles into the pawnshop. It's a dark pawnshop with random items and prices scribbled under them.
A pawnbroker scratches his head as a fatass walked into his store. "[Si, cos'è?]"
"No hablo Espanol. Tu hablo Ingles?" Kevin replies.
"Thanks for the compliment, Mikhail," She walks out of the car, nods towards Kevin, and walks into the pawnshop. She looks around the dark store, taking a look at the random items sprawled about.
"You know, I get the feelin' they'll either come back empty-handed, or with half the store in their pockets."
The pawnbroker sighed and narrowed his eyes at the fatman's word choice. He placed his elbow to the counter and gave him a daring eye. "Yes. Now, is there something you need?" He spoke in an distinct accent. ... Kellogg let out a large puff of smoke in the interior. Dwelling on certain situations. Meanwhile a door opened in front of him and saw one of his bodyguards walk in casually. Kellogg nodded and shook his hand. "How's it going?" The bodyguard gave him a smirk and gave him a few pictures. "Benitos won't face an assault like this. They're under equipped and their man understaffed." Kellogg tensed his nostrils and closed his eyes. "They have a lot of connections flowing around. Soon they're going to act indirectly." The bodyguard made a frown, sighing. "They already have." Kellogg widened his eyes and stared at him. "Where?" "Each raided area from any allies."
Kevin smiled and held up a picture of Kellogg. "Have you seen this man?"
Rodney looks over to Voronov. "Check safety, check loaded, cock, aim, hold breath and squeeze trigger? Yeah, that's kindergarten shit."
"Indeed. Here. Two spare mags for you." Voronov replies, before drawing two magazines from one of the magazine pouches on her hip. She holds them out to Rodney. "My handgun uses the same ammo and mags."
"Good to hear. We're here." The group stopped in front of one of the hit warehouses. The damage could be seen as the workers we're cleaning things up. The hit must have been recent. Frank looked around and saw the foreman. "I'll go talk to the foreman. Rodney, if what Luke told me wasn't true, I'll call you over. Voronov, Victor, I'll need your eagle eyes to warn us in case trouble comes our way." Frank whistled to get the foreman's attention "Eyy goomba, get over here!"
"Ahh cereal brand. Word of mouth gets around and chain of command in Sanskirt not happy. Sneaky son of a bitch. Careful where you look. Eyes watch over any last activity. But no, have not seen him. otherwise he would have killed me. Dead. Bang bang." He mocked with two bullets gesturing a finger gun.
Rodney takes the mags Voronov offers and shoves them into his pockets. "Convenient, thanks."
Mikhail lit a cigarette and scanned the street. "You just worry about shooting unwanted guests, what donut and blondie do is a whole other thing." He puffed out some smoke and checked his magazine. "But if you ask me they both look a little out pf place in this criminal city".
Kevin throws a twenty dollar bill and a donut at the pawnshop clerk. "Will this help you remember?"
"No." The broker bluntly said.
Kevin grabs the money back. "Keep the donut." He turns and waddles out to the car. Getting in, he says, "No dice, onto the next."
[Going to bed so I'm putting mikhail in NPC mode]
"So where you from anyways, er, uh. Mike, I think? I was always bad with names." George leaned back in his seat. "And yeah, they look more like a couple you'd see on TV, the woman only marryin' the guy 'cause he's got money."
Julia walks fast towards the counter and snatches the donut, then walks back to the car.
