There is almost 0 supply of slime balls.

There's a slime chunk detector on the minecraft forums that gives a map + coords to each slime chunk in the map, but it requires the seed of the map to use.

I've been having major issues with the server today and yesterday.

Every time I log on, I have to go through a period of extreme lag. I can't eat, I can't talk, I can't open doors, sometimes I can't even move.

This lasts anywhere from 15 seconds to 3 whole minutes waiting for the game to allow me to play it.

I can't escape the portal. I come out, I walk a distance, then suddenly I'm back inside the portal trying to walk out again. It's not teleporting me back to the open world, I'm just stuck in perpetual escape from the nether

If you're willing to make a gamble the Great Southern Express goes through a few slime chunks with about 5% chance of a slime encounter.
